And thus confirms my statement.

Everything King did was all to build a team around Deron/Dwight. THAT was the plan. But Dwight screwed it up by being Dwight. When that plan fell apart, King's adjustment to it was bad. Had Dwight not screwed up the plan, then he would have been in the fold by the deadline.

And King's plan would have worked.
