"I certainly not looking to trade them. What I said before is you have to be fluid. You never know what's going to come your way. I hope that they're part of this. They're both terrific people. They're both competitive people and I hope to maximize their talents." Sean Marks on Thad & Brook

Let's say Horford leaves ATL for a contender this summer...anyone think ATL could consider Teague & 21st pick for Lopez & Bogs? There are other teams that could use a Center - Houston needs a big man, Cousins isn't happy, Monroe hasn't worked in Milwaukee. Much of this discussion will depend on which teams would be the most desperate if they strikeout on Al Horford & Hassan Whiteside this summer

2 1st rounders and Teague is a bit rich for Lopez

The head coach said he talks to Brook every week and is excited about what they can do together.

I don't think as a GM that Marks is married to Brook and Thad, but I don't think they are traded unless its a can't refuse offer.

I would not trade Brook Lopez for Jeff Teague. Not after what I saw from Teague in the playoffs. He was a non factor through 2 rounds.

Lopez for Monroe? lateral. Cousins? hell yeah. but there's an issue with his attitude.

I don't think the Nets are dealing with any knuckleheads or guys with questionable attitudes.

It's not a bit rich...it's way too expensive.

Lopez is on a good contract with exceptions for insurance.

Teague is an expiring who is considered expendable by his team. Sure, others would compete for his services but that's a lot to give up for a rental who will be commanding a much bigger salary next offseason.

Yeah agreed.

Think it would take something like Love, or a top 5 pick and a useful starting caliber vet on a decent contract, or Cousins, maybe Jahlil Okafor and a pick, Valanciunas, Joseph and the Knicks pick, something like that for Marks to trade Lopez.

Teague on a rental and a late pick for Lopez is terrible.
