I welcome outsiders to vote, but we don't want outsiders intentionally screwing up our rankings. No hard feelings but this is the most effective method I can use to make sure non-regular posters aren't sabotaging our system.

If you're looking for honesty, ladies, look no further than John Wall.

Wall, a two-time All-Star and the No. 1 overall pick of the 2010 NBA Draft, spoke with Peter Rosenberg of Hot 97 in New York during All-Star weekend about a variety of topics, including his relationships with women.

"There's been a couple ladies I liked, wanted to date," Wall said. "But I know I wouldn't be faithful right now. I'm not ready to be faithful, so I'll be honest with a woman, and I don't want to break nobody's heart."

V: Wall. 20/10/5 on 20 PER. TS is his only issue offensively, outside of that he is pretty studly. +2.53 RAPM, top 100 defensively among poing gaurds in DRAPM, DRPM, DWS, Steals.

N: blake griffing. he'd be top 12 had he been healthy. he should be in the 15-20 range as he posted stud numbers pre injury

V: Wall - I think he's the next best individual PG after Lillard. While Thomas & Lowry have the benefit of having better teams around them, I think they'd get blown out of the water if they had an individual assignment against a focused John Wall. Wall is the 3rd best 2-way guard after Westbrook & CP3. Unfortunately, the rest of his team wasn't up to par this season.

v: Lowry, I'm a bit surprised that Wall can be ahead of him. Lowry had a tremendous season. There's a case to be made about him having been better than Lillard. And certainly, there's no doubt in my mind that he was far better than Wall. He has better stats than Wall in almost every category. Big gap in TS%, while he shoots much better from three, he still gets to the line more often than the more athletic Wall.

v: Lowry, I'm a bit surprised that Wall can be ahead of him. Lowry had a tremendous season. There's a case to be made about him having been better than Lillard. And certainly, there's no doubt in my mind that he was far better than Wall. He has better stats than Wall in almost every category. Big gap in TS%, while he shoots much better from three, he still gets to the line more often than the more athletic Wall.

i think players who dictate pace of the game are rare and that is a significant part of the game, right up there with things like efficiency and RAPM. Kidd in his prime, barkley, westbrook, lebron a few back.

I definitely don't believe the Raptors would have won as many games as they did if Wall (2015 version) was playing for them. Just imagine Wall's reluctance to shoot from outside with DeRozan in the backcourt... Lowry shot 7.1 3pointers per game. Wall shot 4.3. Lowry shot them at .388 and Wall at .351. Lowry is a much more natural shooter, 21.1% of his attempts are pull ups. Wall is only at 9.6%. Despite jacking up so many threes, Lowry still goes to the line more (6.4) vs Wall (4.5).

These rankings are very subjective obviously. I've tried to vote more based on "who have been the best players this season 15/16", so I can understand that some players may be considered "better", despite not having had better years. But in Wall's case? I think there was a considerable gap. Lowry was the best player on a 56 win team. That hasn't been valued enough in these rankings.

some good points here... i think its unfair to say "the raprtoes with wall wouldnt be better" since that really has to do with fit mroe then talent/production plus it also ignores that if you put lowry on the wizards they dont get better either.

as far as lillard, he was voted in, but he wasnt my vote. i have wall above lillard as well. lillard is one of the worst defenders in the league (DRAPM, DRPM, DRTG, DWS). like not hyperbole he is one of the worst... like his is in bogs/bargani territory statistically. wall is one of the better defenders at PG, and sets pace better then any G in the league.
