Also, there may be trolls out there making ridiculous statement on here just to make Lin fan in general look bad...Not every Lin fan believe Lin is as good as Lillard....
I'd like to think the majority knows very well Lin is not on that level(yet) and some of these obscene comments comparing Lin to Lillard/Harden are probably from trolls or some Lin fans in China who think with their heart instead of their head.
No need to minimize Lin as you praise Lillard. Lin has advantages over the little guy too: defense (a huge one), much superior court vision and creative playmaking, and ability to make his teammates better.
Head to head, what I remember best is Houston vs. Portland in the playoffs. In game 6, Harden was hogging the ball as usual, but Lin still made his presence felt. He held Lillard to zero points in the 4th quarter of that game -- as in total lockdown. But with 3 seconds left, for some idiot reason, Coach McHale decided to bench Lin. That was when Lillard finally got loose to make his game-winning (and series-winning) buzzer beater.
Overall, I would say Lin is at least at Lillard's level, when Lin has as much freedom and encouragement to play his game as Lillard does to play his. The Nets got an absolute steal. We will see next season, but this is what I think.
