There will be some ugly losses, painful losses, ugly wins and exciting wins. We more than likely will win a few games against the likes of Golden State, Cleveland, Boston, San Antonio, etc and those will be the high points of our season along with those typical Brook Lopez dominant performances and a few magical performances by Jeremy Lin or maybe LeVert.

That's all our season will be. I will attend whenever I can and will rock my Lin or Brook shirts proudly as we hopefully build a culture of basketball smarts to then build this roster in the proper fashion. Whether or not, they land is a superstar. We need to see if our GM / Coach can live up to his word and reputation. I want to see a culture that is modern day.

Wins and losses is going to be difficult for awhile. Accept this lol

the losing won't bother me as long as this team doesn't quit in games.

Last season, even though we stunk, up until Jack got injured and Brook/Thad got shut down the Nets didn't really dog it last season. They played hard but talent trumps effort in the NBA.

same here... ive seen losing, lsoing doesnt bother me. ill take last years 21-61 over dwill led nets that played with 0 effort on the regular even though they won 38 games and made the playoffs.

if by the grace of god this team manages to scrap together 30 hard fought wins i'll consider this season a success under these circumstances.

If you lose because you lack talent, I can accept.

What I cannot accept, is losing because of a lack of effort. The Nets skated by the first few years in BK because we had B/C talent on the roster. D-Will's last year the talent level dipped hard and we were lucky to make the playoffs. last year was the worse we've been since we left Jersey but yet the effort from that roster was probably the best I've seen outside of 2013-14 (and lets be real, those guys dropped a ton of games due to lack of effort).

They've gotta try some running.

Thanks for the honesty.

I think during summer league one of the players, I forget who, said that they were going to run a lot. Though who knows if that's just stuff they try out when training and practicing in the summer, or if it actually becomes part of the regular season game plan.

If they can manage it, fastbreaks are one of the best ways for them to score since it means the opposing defense is less set.

Watching the dwill Nets was the worst fan experience because even though the team was hype deep down we all knew the team was a gutless sack. From every EC superstar publicly calling the team soft, to SVG calling the FO bush league everyone in the NBAs admitted scouting report was that the team would crack under pressure. Unfortunately, none of us who paid attention to the regular season were surprised when this rang true

When a 1st ballot future HOF has to ask the so called franchise player if his "pussy hurts" while he's on a table getting treatment, you know the situation wasn't kosher.
