I think it's been more Lin than KA.

Please take note, this is an example of derailing. This deserves to be called out by all Nets fans, old and new.

Don't drag "team fans vs lin fans" issue into this, it is like Hillary tactics, divide and instigate people. I saw plenty of criticism towards RHJ at netsdaily from team fans. If you emotional invested in heated debates with someone criticize RHJ before, go specifically at them, don't turn it into a holy war against non-believers.

an irrational opinion by someone who wasnt a net fan until lin signed here is never going to be met very well by diehard fans of this team....

If lin fans are going to throw players under the bus after 4 or 5 games and conclude they belong in the D-league its going to get a poor reaction. especially when the opinion is based on so little substance. We have already went through Whitehead, and RHJ and now its time to bash bogdanovic apparently...

too many of the new fans here overreact to 1 or 2 games and have enormous knee jerk reactions about players they know little about

But didn't you have a strong reaction against signing Lin? Maybe you did exactly what they're doing? Point is we're all human and we make mistakes and have different opinions. In general there's an awful lot of nastiness on this board if someone doesn't agree with their opinion.

the only nastiness is when th lin worship gets out of hand and people starting throwing guys under the bus after 7 or 8 games because of losses/struggles in a season where the GM and coach have said development is the priority.

we arent here to argue facts or play the game were we pretend that because lin is here our fortunes have turned and we are now some team that should be in win now mode.

it got nasty in here because you made a statement that was clearly trolling/baiting. how did you expect that to go over when you credit the guy who is out due to injuries for wins in his absence?

These guys spent the entire summer talking about the Charlotte Hornets more than the Nets, now all of a sudden they watch 3-4 Nets games and decide "oh this guy will never make in the NBA" "he needs to be in the d league" or "he sucks he needs to be traded". These same posters saying that Bojan needs to be shipped out didn't see last season when Bojan was bombing from 3pt land once Joe Johnson got cut. It's ridiculous and then it's a wonder why these opinions get called out?

The worst was seeing someone call Whitehead the worst basketball player they had ever seen. Then boom, next time out the kid posts a sweet 6-6-7 statline and plays well and people go silent. It's annoying, and its trolling

yup... they set unrealistic expectations of the team and then trash our players when we dont live up to those insane expectations... and then posters like us get called out for being negative for not thinking this team is playoff ready just yet.

Meanwhile we are in here every game thread (even when lin is out) cheering the team on.

Some cant grasp that you can acknowledge this season is more about development, not expect alot, and STILL want/root for this team to win. like legit in the other thread someone called me out for being mad about a nets win... LOL! I'm here going crazy or at the game doing the same anytime that happens

Even for Lin himself, this is at least a three-year project and not one-year. Developing these young players will only make Nets a better team two years from now. We see guys like RHJ and Whitehead developing right in front of our eyes and in the meantime we are on pace to exceed every expert's W/L prediction for us as well. I don't even know what there is to complain about.
