Most NBA players if they have a wide open 10-16 foot shot will hit over 50%.

He talked about working on it during the summer and should have the green light from Kenny.

Having the midrange is very good for PGs cuz they might find daylight while dribbling around, running PnR or just standing around top of the key. It was very important for guys like Stockton, the Glove, Parker, Nash, Kidd to have that weapon available.

Pick and pop. Shoot the midrange anywhere when the defender goes under the screen. Some pick and pops will be 3 pointers. But 3 pointer is a lower percentage shot so when the team starts to miss them, I still say shoot the mid-range. But, you have to make shots, 2s or 3s sometimes.

Who do you think should regularly do midrange PnP?

Thanks for the honesty.

Lin, Skil, Whitehead, Bogs. Not regularly. But on some plays.

You mean have the small set the pick? I think Bogs is the only guy that really makes sense. But it'd probably be better to shoot the 3 for him.

Still not quite the same as having a big doing it.
