-LeVert, glad to finally see the guy in action. impressed by his IQ/Presence. didnt seem rattled at all and plays like a veteran under control making the right plays. I was a bit underwhelmed by his speed/quickness. maybe its rust as he hasnt played in a year but he looked quicker on film for sure. should help as another 2 way guy though, we really lack those. hope this board doesnt jump all over him and call him a scrub when he struggles. seems like a real high iq player.

My sentiments exactly. Let LeVert shoot 0-5 in the next game and watch what happens.

"I don't think he's an NBA player"

"he needs to go to the d league"

There has been zero patience on here for the young guys. It's ridiculous.

If RHJ can develop a decent jumper and thats a big IF then the rest of his game will flourish. I like rondae his potential is on defense, but he cant be disrespected like that on offense he needs to take that **** personal and go ham on practice because if doesnt prove he can make a shot they are going to sag of him all day im hoping in the future his jumper would be alright at least not like his body is trippin on acid everytime he shoots.

“The other day I saw one of his games. He was running with the ball at a hundred per cent full speed, I don’t know how many touches he took, maybe five or six, but the ball was glued to his foot. It’s practically impossible.”

The whole point of development is to let these guys stretch their limits and play through struggles. Rondae taking a couple wide open 3s is not make or break for us right now. He could brick them all and realistically, it's not changing the end result of the game. He NEEDS to stay confident so he can eventually develop into a 34-35% shooter that you need to think of guarding. He took the shots yesterday with no hesitation. That's good.

Instead of limiting him, we need to make sure he keeps defending, rebounding, running the break and making plays for the others.

Don't care if he turns into Corey Brewer in the future. That's a guy that's made a big impact on solid teams with his energy and defense. You live with the rest. Happy to see him playing PF too. He's a little undersized but that's a spot we need him at. Minimizes the negative impact of his shooting too.

LeVert the Savior looked good. Impressed by his defensive instincts. He looked really big for a SG. He needs to get more comfortable in the motion offense and move a little more off the ball. Seemed like he's used to either handling the ball or just spacing the floor. Can't imagine how nervous he was. Can't wait to see him when he's settled in.

Thank you. Well said.

Let the kid play, let him figure it out.

Prok is right. LeVert will have some bad games and look bad at times. He's a rookie and they're up and down. But he did show some good things last night. I love that he's active in the passing lanes and moves his feet on defense. This team needs as much defensive presence as it can get. I also agree with Prok that Lopez loses effectiveness with minutes played. But, if Hamilton can't get out of his shooting slump and be the stretch 5 we need, he can't do that much else. Maybe he'll be a decent PnR man with Lin, we'll see .

LV is lottery talent. He just needs to stay healthy.

Needs to be traded while he still has legitimate value.

Something like Brook and RHJ for Gortat and either Otto Porter or Bradley Beal.

 here we go. trade everyone because we think they suck, and expect to get actual value in return.

i'm not sure why people on here think they can trade guys that they think aren't worth squat and get something back. if you're watching these games and feel the need to trade said players, what makes you think nba scouts don't see the same thing that you do or more? it's honestly funny.

Otto Porter is set to be highly courted during the summer, like you have the words "max contract" being attached to his name yet you think we're making trades for him? he's better than any wing we have on our team

I don't think RHJ is worthless, in fact I think he's still got a lot of trade value.

I also don't think he's garbage or anything either and actually feel he's very likely to become a starter level player.

But, I still see him as what he is now, an eventual role player whose hard to play huge minutes unless he's in a very specific lineup and surrounded by guys who easily mask his weaknesses while he does the same for them.

I also still believe Brook has very solid value, though the same as RHJ, he is hard to build around and only certain teams would want to give up actual value in trade for him.

I get Porter is being looked at highly and higher every passing game, but I think deals like these are doable for many reasons, both on court and fiscally, for both sides.

Beal is still something of a disappointment himself and comes with his own set of injury concerns attached to a huge contract, but I still make that move as well.

Just seems for a team like ours, you have to try and strike while the iron is hot.

I don't want to trade guys for the sake of it, but you have to take risk and jump at opportunity, while shaking things up and Washington is very much in the same boat.

I'd definitely being sending feelers to them if I was Marks.

If I was Washington, I'd explore stuff like Gortat and Beal for Lopez/RHJ/Bogs and then Porter, salary filler and a pick for Paul George.

The NBA is often rife with major movement, I'd look at these types of moves if I'm all 3 teams.

Beal is on a massive contract with suspect knees and can't get along with his co-star. Don't see the point in dealing Brook for him. Beal could be a bad contract sooner than later.

Porter is definitely the guy I'd want but considering he's going to be a RFA. I'd rather just throw an offer sheet at him and force the Wizards to make a decision on him. LeVert/Porter would be an amazing two way tandem.

We could flat out sign George in a couple years. We just need to develop a team that is a superstar away from contending. Trading assets for one is ideal but it's a lot easier to just flat out sign one after rebuilding than taking a short cut.

How does that trade make the Nets better?

I'm being honest, it literally sounds like you're making the trade just for the sake of doing so. Beal for Lopez is a lateral move and one that comes with a massive risk.

The moment RHJ's jumper is right he will be fine

He did shoot 36% in November. There is hope
