I think we get RJ Hunter. He don't play in last 2 games without reason.

I prefer a backup C.

I don't think that we should automatically assume Jones will go to a playoff contender. He's been on one before in Houston and yet he's still managed to find his way to the unemployment line (at least temporarily).

He'll have to battle for minutes on a playoff contender whereas if he played for a bottom dweller he will probably get a lot of minutes, a chance to prove himself, and a minimum 2-yr deal (with a TO on the 2nd year) similar to what we did with Skil.

A mid season pickup for a playoff run is all about adding an extra piece. Not a long term solution. Its in his and a playoffs team best interest to add him, and then let him go over his options in Free Agency. Latch on to a playoff team and try and gef a ring, vs trying to earn a bigger pay day in free agency. Who doesn't chose chasing the ring? Especially seeing as if you dont up your value in the playoffs, you can just sign a 1 year contract.

I think some people are really underestimating the impact that guys like Scola and Foye can have on a franchise and on individual players.

I mean of all people, KD singled out a guy he played 25 games with and couldn't give him enough praise. No of us have any idea of the impact our two 'useless' vets have.

^^this is why i was defending both him and Foye regardless of how past their primes they are. It's not about what happens on the court when it comes to guys like that. There's a reason why when Steph Curry won the MVP he thanked Jarrett Jack, because he helped him as a young professional. Scola is a 10 year pro, gold medalist, highly respected in the basketball community here and abroad. If you don't think he helped some of the younger dudes here you're kidding yourself.

Good luck to Scola, hopefully he gets picked up.

I seriously doubt Terrence Jones signs here because a) why would anyone who is as good as he is sign with a team that will win 11 games, and b) he stomped a homeless man nearly half to death. :noway: :noway: :noway: :noway:

Heard he asked for it.
Wish him good luck.
Most NBA stats aren't credible. At most times the people who interprets those data are biased, or the data themselves are flawed. Basketball is just too complicated with so many uncontrollable variables.

Some people are just fools who don't get it. Both guys should be thanked for their services. And you watch, there'll be another 2 'hopeless' vets added this summer the guide the kids through what will be a rough 2017/18.
