Lopez was a no show... im fine if he isnt great every night... but the effort wasnt there like it had been so far in april... THAT is what makes him just a good player and not some top 25/franchise type player. he doesnt consistently bring that effort/competitiveness.

Archie looked good again.

overall we just need more starting talent. guys you can count on night in and night out. other then Lin and RHJ we dont really have any consistent players.

Any theories on as to why? Lesser competition (especially at the 5 position), not a national broadcast, random bad hair day?

its just who he is... eventually he was going to come back to earth after a great stretch. if you had to pinpoint 1 thing its probably lack of a great competitive drive to consistntly dominate

How did he play and what was his effort with Garnett/Pierce? Those are two very competitive players, Garnett is very vocal but so is Pierce, how was his competitive spirit then? I'm thinking Lin is a competitive guy that likes to win and that may rub off on Lopez, but if it wasn't there with Garnett/Pierce, then it's just not there.

He never really played with Garnett and Pierce... he got injured like a dozen games into the season the year we traded for pierce and garnett. Pierce then went to washington in the offseason and KG was DONE the next year before being traded for thad.

we were terrible before lopez got injured. but it was also a small sample with a new team. hard to say. I'm not sure being vocal with lopez helps. he isnt a dog. he works hard. he just isnt driven to go the extra mile and doesnt eat and sleep basketball and doesnt seem motivated to be elite.
