Nets are lucky to have such good on air talent. When I listen to other teams' regional broadcasts they come off as homerish whereas our broadcasters are pretty objective.

Nets are lucky to have such good on air talent. When I listen to other teams' regional broadcasts they come off as homerish whereas our broadcasters are pretty objective.

You know we have a great team when you consistently hear Eagle, Rucco and Czar calling NBA TV games and ESPN/TNT playoff games. Rucco himself is a star because he's young as hell but calls a great basketball AND baseball game. YES is really lucky to have him.

Their objectivity makes watching games a lot more enjoyable. For example, when watching the Nets, you never feel like the announcers are unreasonably sympathetic towards certain players on the court asking for fouls to be called, or chastising the officials for tough or missed calls (like the announcers for the Clippers & Cavs)
