If Tyler Zeller can get back to his 14-15 season level or even 15-16 season level, I think he should be the backup center, with Allen starting (eventually). Because the way Mozgov is playing, I'm sure Zeller can give us at least the same production as Mozgov. Mozgov looks like he's finished to me.

I watch the games the next day and just finished Orl vs Bkn. Gotta say that Rondae Hollis-Jefferson is a TREMENDOUS defensive player. His offense is also improving. You got a nice one there

Who is playing PG for the Cavs. Tonight's game, lots of upsets. GSW lost too.

Mostly Shumpert, Rose is out. Losing by close to 20 is bad...

That's the problem. Shump is not a PG. Injuries may bring the Cavs down this season to 3rd seed or so.

Feels like short preseason has a lot of teams playing subpar basketball early on.

Also seems there are more serious injuries than usual.

lol lol lol yeah he's so undersized. i'm not sure about him as a PF. lol lol lol. this dude switched onto Vucevic in the 2nd half and things changed immediately. but yeah, lets be "unsure" about this guy. He is a game changer and a two way player. it hurts some folks to see this i'm sure.

RHJ haters will be getting dragged this season. "take him out, he's wasting Lin's minutes!!!" hahahahhahahhahahaha

RHJ is starting to remind me of a combination of Rodman and Artest.

Player's performance by GCP against Magic 20 Oct 2017

DMC - 34 (+)
Booker - 34 (++)
Dinwiddie - 32 (++)
RHJ - 30 (+)
DAR - 24 (=)
Allen - 24 (+)
Harris - 20 (+)
CLV - 13 (=)
Mozgov - 9 (-)
Acy - 9 (-)
Crabbe - 9 (--)

Nice win, overall though we need Mozgov to improve and if Crabbe can't keep up at the starting position we may be better off bringing in Dinwiddie to PG and let DAR play SG. I think if Allen keeps up his current performance - he deserves a shot at starting center (hopefully he can string 3 or more games above GCP 20).
Stability is a myth perpetuated by the agents called homeostasis and status quo....

I actually think Dinwiddie may be the guy who makes a case to move to the starting lineup over Crabbe at some point - he does everything right, seems to get better every game, and if he can become a consistent threat from 3 look out.

In order to do that they need another backup point guard. Jameer Nelson would be perfect he's a vet leader too.[/quote]

they have isiah whitehead. id be fine with him playing 12 minutes at pg. or even 6 minute with levert getting 6 min

he reminds me of a less athletic younger gerald wallce. the leaner wallce before he started shooting threes.

Wallace is really a good comp for RHJ. He's taken a big step forward and seems to be a really good fit next to Carroll. They're pretty interchangeable defensively, the fact that they can both rebound makes up for both being undersized, and Carroll's outside game allows Rondae to stay inside. A true rim protector at C would go a really long way to fixing the defense, hopefully Allen keeps growing up quickly.
