they are going to match any deal.

i would be shocked if Sean Marks offers an insane deal to another RFA following our acquisition of Russell. RHJ is going to get paid. Russell is going to get paid.

the next difference makers that will wear Nets unis will come from Toronto's two picks that we have this year, or our own 2019 pick.

You do realize he signed RFA Otto Porter to a max offer sheet after acquiring Russell right? And then traded for Crabbe, who he'd signed to large offer sheet last year. One could surmise that Marks primary strategy has been to pursue young talents that fit via RFA. It's enormously unlikely we get Gordon, but that doesn't mean they won't attempt it even if it's just to tie up the Magic's cap. You're putting an awful lot of faith in a non-lotto 1st and a 2nd if you're expecting difference makers.

we won't have the cap room.

also, we got both LeVert and Allen with non lotto picks.

Levert - 14.4% (3-21)

Prok - can you let us know what is the percentage for the team that has the best 3 pt shooting percentage? and are their makes anywhere close to ours?

orlando is at 45% on 28 attempts
blazers 44% on 24 attempts
warriors 42% on 35 attempts

of the 3 teams who take more threes then us

rockets 28% on 42 attempts
raptors 30% on 36 attemptstg
warriors 42% on 35 attempts

Thanks Prok. Really interesting!

So the Rockets and Raptors have shot more threes than Nets but at much lower percentage.

The Warriors have shot only slightly more threes than Nets, and as a team they are shooting threes at insane percentage of 42%. Magic and Blazers have also been shooting lights out from three (ouch Aaron Gordon and Vucevic)

we've got 6 young players here who have serious potential. we're going to add two more in 2018 and 19.

i'm not saying this to be an ass hole, but i don't understand why you're pining for another team's restricted free agent right now. we are right on track to become one of the major players in the post Lebron era.

Rondae is out there beasting and you guys are hard up for Aaron Gordon who will be impossible to get. i don't get the logic at all behind this.

yall are on that Billy King **** i see. Sean Marks has another plan. one that isn't based in delusion.

Orlando can offer him the most money but they don't own him lol players move teams all the time. Look at Greg Monroe, Dwight Howard, Kevin Durant..it's the reality of free agency.

I like RHJ too but as they improve they'll get better players. The last place you want to be in is having to overpay Rhondae, adding someone that's a stud at his position before negotiations would be smart.

Jarret Allen is the type of center they want. That athletic pick n roll threat could be the last piece of the puzzle they need to get over the hump. Not Aaron Gordon necessarily but someone like that who has the ability to go off for 30 would be a luxury.

We already have someone who has the ability to go off for 30.

I don't think the Nets will be overpaying for Rondae at all. Rondae is becoming a huge factor on both ends of the floor.

D'lo, Crabbe are guards I'm talking about a big man that can go off.

we likely wont have the cap for gordon anyhow

See my post on the other thread - all they'd need to do is trade Lin (or insist he opts out). His injury really screwed us. But either way it doesn't matter much because the Magic would likely match. It would be nice to cap them out though because they have a nice young roster.

oh. personally i just want our bigs to defend, rebound, block shots and finish. let the wings and backcourt players focus on going off, we're a 3pt oriented team first and foremost.
