You are being extremely irrational. please don't let your narrative against one particular player get in the way of reality.

I know that you want him replaced right now but please have some sense of realism, it's just not going to happen.

WTH are you talking about? How is it irrational? I need to have an insurance sure thing b/c his legs aren't guaranteed and he's 13M next year.

How is it irrational to replace and stash off the player you used the DPE for 2 years in a row. :banghead:

No team is going through this. Well one, the Knicks wit Noah.

I don’t know why you repeatedly said the Nets used the DPE on Lin for two years in a row. That definitely did not happen last year. Lin came back in late February and played two dozen games. Are you saying the Nets will use the DPE on him next season?

we filed for it twice.

Correction. Last time we applied for it on Jarrett Jack and this year is Lin. But it still doesn't change how they have to focus on replacing him.

Bruh, I'm not here to talk about Jeremy Lin. I made a suggestion that any team in the NBA would think over. Frankly my interest in Lin is just about him not being the reason why a team's progress is stopped. Like the close games when we're missing ____. Or the fact that's one less veteran leader voice in the locker room and has no impact other than social media.

I'm focusing on the team.

Finally re-watching this 1st quarter vs the Spurs. B/c that was the quarter that hurt us in the whole game.

- Our offense has to hit that pivot screen pass, they're turning it down too much and it's causing a dribble handoff clot
- Dinwiddie has to trust on the post D pos, Harris can't help too much, his one play in the post continued a 5 pt swing (Mills)
- And when Afro gives Joe that handoff and Mills trailed him, shoot the 3, 8 point swing, Harris was beat in transition 3
- Pops is nasty, he designed 2 screens to target Joe Harris. 10-5 swing
- Levert challenging 2 bigs and turning it over in the paint wasn't smart
- Allen wit a rare rookie mistake on the Forbes runner, he went for the steal and Spurs close that quarter wit a 20-7 run

You're a very knowledgeable poster and you know the impact a vet has on a team (I think). Lin can help. The team likes and misses him. I think DMC has a big load on his shoulders being the only vet that delivers in his play (forget Mozgov) that has to try to guide the team through their growing pains. Lin could help. Kind of weird he's not with the team where he was a fixture last season until he came back, and made a difference being there for the young team. So, it's not about social media and more about the team. I don't give a bleep about social media personally and I too, am focused on a team that has improved so much since last season.

We weren't dominated at all.

In fact after that debacle 1st quarter we improved and held them to 20-25-24. 3rd quarter offense for us was atrocious.

So in other words .....

Or the fact that's one less veteran leader voice in the locker room and has no impact other than social media.
