There's also not a huge drop off from say the 18th best PG to say the 40th. He's much closer to a guy like Teodosic than he is to the guys in the first few tiers of PGs. He's nowhere near the Harden/Curry tier. He's nowhere near the Irving/Lilliard tier. I wouldn't even put him close to the Bledsoe tier. He can be anywhere from a Ricky Rubio to a Milos Teodosic. Nice players, but you're always willing to upgrade from them.

Dinwiddie has been better than both Rubio and Teodosic. I'd say I'd put Dinwiddie in the 3rd tier of PGs along with guys like Teague.

Oladipo was already established and received the big contract last year.

Oladipo's numbers, efficiency, PER etc jumped up across the board drastically this season:

I'm one of the guys on here who calls people crazy for wanting to trade Spencer. I think he is absolutely a starting level player and should be retained because starting PGs just don't grow on trees like some folks here think. but i think objectively, Oladipo runs away with the award. But Spencer is definitely deserving of votes and to be in the conversation.

That's the problem right there fans shouldn't be objective imo root hard for your guys. It's someone else's job to be objective.

How do ever expect to win if you don't have backup (the fans) going up against a team that does?

I'm just being honest, it has nothing to do with me rooting for Dinwiddie. I'm not going to lie about what the reality of the situation is because I'm a fan of the team.

Who isnt praising dinwiddie? he unanimously gets love and props here.... just because people arent being blind homers and giving him the award cause he is our guy doesnt mean we dont appreciate what he has down to improve.

He is in the mix for sure, but i'd put him comfortably behind Oladipo and Just below Jalen Brown at #3.

I think RHJ probably needs to be top 5 in MIP along with Lou Williams on that list too

Good point we should cheer more for Rhondae too either way most improved belongs here.

Oladipo does not play for Brooklyn so why everyone is talking about him idk.

YES broadcast gushes over opposing players too much and now you guys are following suit this is insanity.

no one likes a homer and it does our guys no good to win awards they dont deserve... it only servies to inflate their ego and and salary. if they earn it great. if not id prefer someone else win the award
