The thing about all of this is that there is room for a LOT of improvement. But right now, this is all star level stuff. He kept this team in the game through 3 qtrs til he got some help.

He's going to be paid. the question is, what veteran max player wants to come here? we only need one. Russell/LeVert/Dinwiddie/Allen are a legit core.

The team needs a power forward bad and they could use some athletes that can dunk it in transition like Kurucs and Allen do.

I think we'll need to address that in free agency. I don't see any in season moves being worth it right now unless it doesn't bite into offseason cap space.

if not the draft... you dont need to pick top 3 or take zion to get an athletic PF...

this year, even if we make the playoffs, will be the highest pick we have had in some time, in the teens. we could get our paul george or kawhi the way marks drafts.

I agree.... and this is why you dont tank. because you dont create this kind of fight, mental toughness, and togetherness by losing on purpose to try and get a better pick. I look at philly and while EMbiid and simmons are all-stars and unreal talent, i would not trade our situation for theirs. for every embiid there is an okafor... for every simmons there is a fultz and carter-williams. its a terrible atmosphere. its not an accident bostons young guys wiped the floor with them last year - celtics have a culture where those guys where developed and pushed and in a competitive atmosphere.

I was ALL IN on the go get 2 superstars train... but now id easily turn that down to just plug in one guy at PF. id take just kawhi over kawhi and durant... even though that duo makes our odds at a title 10 times better id much rather watch and cheer for the former playing this same style with this same type of grit

if marks gets kawhi and maybe some ansalary guys similar to what we have now, it will be maybe the most enjoyable team to watch we have and thats including the kid led nets
I think this is why I'm still pro-finding ways to efficiently dump Crabbe. We may not have money for 2 Max but we sure can (under same assumptions with 2 max scenarios) bring in 1 Max and another good player to bolster this squad that's more reliable (hopefully) than Crabbe.

yea u was right, I wanted to tank because I just didn't believe there was anyway we make the playoffs, but our guys have a lot of fight and DLo stepped his game up alot along with everybody else. Have to give Kurucs alot of credit, once he stepped in the lineup we went on a roll. Din playing at all star level. So excited for the future, there has to be a star that sees what we're doing here and want to join us. Kawhi would be perfect here.

Tanking doesnt work. this has been proven time and time again. it has not once worked and typically sets teams back 5 to 10 years. if we tanked then Dlo doesnt go on this run, dinwiddie doesnt go on this run, kurucs doesnt go on this run and those guys are all looking to leave in free agency, moral dies, and we would basically be a worse version of the hawks
