Think so? Invested a lot of time into him and has shown flashes of that next step, but could still pray for consistency if team doesn't look like it'll do well in free agency.
I'm inclined to believe his flashes is just him getting lucky. The guy is so out of control 99% of the time. He can't dribble, can't shoot, and makes the most ridiculous magician type layup attempts.

He is far from a core player in this team. But of course, Kenny loves him.

Everything he does is all effort.

I'm giving him a 1 year prove it deal, but I'm not losing my sleep over not keeping him.

I’m RHJ’s biggest fan here (I had an RHJ jersey shipped to Australia for God’s sake), but I agree with the one year ‘prove it’ deal. I don’t think his flashes are luck at all. You don’t average 14, 7 and 3 with a PER of 17 and be our best player for a season due to luck. But last years stats mean little right, now if he can’t get it back, he won’t last long in this league.

Its should be obvious to everyone, that right now Kurucs, Graham and RHJ are not starting calibre players. We need to go after a 4 in the offseason badly if we want to go to another level. Graham isn’t good (5, 3 and 1 in 23 minutes, PER of 5.1 and .445 TS%). He’s a good defender, maybe even very good, but he shouldn’t be defending bigs. He’s an inch or two shorter than RHJ and his wingspan is 5 inches shorter. He should be locking down wings (like he was tasked against Harden).

My squad for next season:
1. Dlo/ Din/ Napier
2. Caris/ Crabbe
3. Harris/ Musa/ Graham
4. ??/ Kurucs/ RHJ
5. Allen/ Ed

I would offer RHJ the minimum for a year to fill the Dudley role. He’s a good soldier and his team mates love him, he’s especially close with Caris. If he doesn’t improve than I’ll start to petition my Brisbane Bullets to sign him for their 2020/21 season.

I don't want to panic because we've still got a ways to go, but the difference when we had him and Russell on the floor and after when Kenny took both of them off for that Napier led line up at the 2nd of the 2nd was pretty much the backbreaker in this game.

it will be a marked difference when we have Russell and LeVert to start games, and Dinwiddie in control of the 2nd unit. I'm not even remotely concerned, but very disappointed that the Nets laid an egg tonight

Yeah obviously it sucks to get worked at home by a bad team but there's no need to panic. Can't lift LeVert's restrictions just because he's LeGOAT. We've played well without him. There's no reason we shouldn't hold it down while he recovers.

We've bounced back from worse games. No reason to worry. Our rotations are all over the place and our guys are exhausted.

These games happen. I can't be too upset about it.

I'm fine with bringing RHJ back for the qualifying offer. Anything more than that would be overkill.

This was the worst effort and performance ive seen in the Marks/Atkinson era. Maybe the worst defensive effort in the brooklyn era overall. no resistance, no hustle, watching guys lay it up, watching guys take open shots. You with think with LeVert back this team would have some energy. what a complete stinker.

dont really care about the loss, thats whatever... but this was a deron williams/brook lopez level dog effort tongiht.

if im Kenny im ripping into these guys like i never have before. not acceptable. not a single net played with any effort on defense tonight other then maybe levert for a few stretches.

Worse loss of the season but at least LeVert looked good tonight.

I wouldn't say that what RHJ has shown overall is "luck". The dude worked his tail off just to be able to score on offense, we all remember how he was in his rookie season, dude was scared to touch the ball. However, injuries and mental hurdles have derailed him this year. He's not the same guy who was locked in last year and he has failed to improve his efficiency on his jumper. His mid range game is non existent.

I'm glad that the team still gives him a chance because we are a better team when RHJ is on his game, but he has to make the last half of this season really count for something. We are getting nothing from our forward position and its killing us.

I would say graham's effort was there too. But Levert's energy was just on another level compared to everyone's. Which is a shame. You'd think it was everyone coming back and Caris the one playing in rhythm

Exactly.

It’s also a young team that mentally checked out with LeVert returning and being the last home game before all-star break. Should it happen? No. Does it happen? Yes.

These types of L's is an embarrassment. Especially with the overall growth the team has shown in their 50+ games.

Prok is right. There was ZERO effort outside of Caris; which should be expected due to his absence from the court the last 3 months. It was a pathetic effort acros the board.

It is transparent the players respect and love to play for Kenny. Now, it is up to Kenny to show resilience in games such as these, and right the ship. A beatdown by a bad team with no identity should NEVER happen on your home court. It better be a fresh, prepared, mentally equipped team the 2nd half of the season.

I hope after this loss, Kenny chewed their ass, broke the white board and some markers, told them he loves them; enjoy their break.

We have two games versus TOR and CLE before the break. I don't think Leonard is healthy so we might be able to bounce back monday.
