I'm not mad at the defense they were right there at the end. If anything people should be mad about the missed layups in the first half if DLO makes one or 2 of those it's a different game. It's a freaking layup.
So missed lay ups in the 1st half is what cost the Nets the game. We're just going to disregard Russell exploding for 24 points in the 2nd half including 5 driving lay ups and nail this down to 4 missed FGs in the 1st half.
Not overall poor defense by the team, not Marc Gasol walking Ed Davis like a dog in the 4th quarter, not Leonard killing us in the 4th, but D'Angelo Russell missing lay ups in the 1st half.
