RPM is not the same as RAPM, it can be used stand alone without other metrics. even RAPM shouldnt be used stand alone.

Siakim just isnt a difference maker. he is an excellent role player, but those are replacable. They won 60 games last year with siakim not being a major contributor. they will win 60 games again this year... not because of him, because they have a top 5 player in kawhi an all-star PG in lowry and a floor spacing shot block big in ibaka with one of the leagues best benches.

Siakim is like levert. he impacts the game, he puts up good numbers, but there are dozens of guys like him across the league you could swap with for no difference. id argue they would be better if you put joe harris or crabbe in there, guys who space the floor better

We talk **** about the Knicks all day but I guarantee if we went on their forum talking smack about their players we'd be mauled (and suspended after their mods let their posters take turns cussing us from here til next week).

Agreed. This fan base as a whole likes to sit here and play victim for when it’s convenient. I’m nearly 26 and I’ve been here 8 years. This ‘outside looking in’ mindset has gone on for far too long here and I’ll be honest...the team is getting more followers, more attention than ever before and I’m seeing new fans as well.

Some Bucks loser fan had the nerve to challenge Net fans over the whole Bledsoe getting snubbed for DLo thing during the ASG and he tweeted “Bledsoe should’ve been in here. Nets only have 10 fans so who wants to see DLo?”

He was swarmed in his mentions by Net fans and DLo fans. Over 2,000+ replies. It made me smile and that Bucks “journalist” did not respond.

The ratings have jumped up near 15% since December and most importantly, we finally have the PG we’ve asked for after the horrendous experience called the Deron Williams era.

Trying to claim that we are more civilized than a Knick fan has also gotten old as a cop out for Net fans, IMO.

News Flash: People don’t even think you exist. Stop acting civil. Some on this forum need to fan up and stop allowing these “fans” who want to secretly slurp our cool-aid but tell us it sucks to our face out of pure arrogance. Being humble and allowing people to slap you in the face multiple times are two different things. This also goes for some who can’t help but always have an agenda within their every DLO post. We argue more than most boards which is strange considering the little amount of traffic we have.

I’m honestly over the whole ‘Yeah...I’m a Nets fan. Shhhh’ nonsense this board carries around at times. It’s 2019. The league will be headed to High School by 2022. Our entire cultured system could create a beautiful farm system with our six draft picks. By 2025, nobody will remember the NJ or Billy King era. It was calculated that we get here. Wake up. We’re contending in the East and it’s time to start treating it as such. I don’t care if we’re 3 back of 9th or 1 back of 9th. Everyone sees us differently except our own fans.

I’ll also add...I hold my tongue often but if you ask me, I don’t think some people on this forum understand how to root for your own players. It’s a foreign concept which is why I find it funny when people complain about Barclays like if this board is somehow anymore supportive compared to other forums within RealGM? It’s absolutely not.

Nobody representing the Lakers with LeBron and his 10th place squad should be in here throwing shade criticizing guys that they desperately would be rooting for in a Lakers jersey if the shoe was on the other foot (like it was in 2015).
