Yeah Pinson has shown flashes so I wasn't really surprised last night. Once he gains more confidence he's going to be a problem.

The Nets have a great conundrum on their hands because we've got three excellent guards in Russell/LeVert/Dinwiddie and two youngsters with upside in Pinson and Musa.
Musa will probably be groomed as a SF at 6'9

you think so? he seems like he's better suited in the backcourt with his ball handling ability.

I'm surprised about his shooting for starters.

He's a wing, probably doesn't matter if you plug him at the 2 or the 3, more so depends on who he's guarding and who he's on the floor with.

They look at him as a 2 or 3, and yeah in our system it's probably interchangeable. But I don't think he'll be guarding many 2s, and Kenny compared him to Mike Dunleavy Jr, whose best years I thought were as a playmaking SF.

I think they will groom him in similar fashion. Ideally, they are probably looking at:

Russell, Caris, Joe, FA, Allen
Spencer, Graham, Musa, Rodi, Davis

If we swing and miss on FA, Rodi moves up to starting line up and Rondae is back.

He's more athletic then both by a decent margin though and in relation to those 2 guys when young.

Same. With Dinwiddie out and LeVert some ways from returning, it would be a good time to give Musa some NBA minutes.

I don't know man, Gallinari was fairly athletic at that age. It wasn't until he got older and bulked up a bit (plus injuries) that he slowed down.

Regardless, while he's athletic perhaps than both of those players, I wouldn't want him defending guards in today's NBA.

Who knows though, haven't really seen him play defense. I would have said no to Rodi guarding guards too but his length certainly bother some.
