Thanks for beating Jimmy. Every Timberwolves fan is grateful and is rooting for you!

also Dudley looks like a random dad somehow playing in the NBA, but he was your secret MVP.

He's been that way all year. Our front court of Kurucs and Allen are long and athletic, and they are capable of making splash plays. But they are both young. The difference when Ed and Dudley come in with the 2nd unit is apparent with their experience. They really anchor that group.

I can't emphasize how good the veteran guys were yesterday. Even Carroll who was 3-10 from the field was a +6 on the floor. Dudley and Davis were out there handling business, it was beautiful.

Also, the poise from the backcourt was spectacular. Russell had the yips early on but after halftime he was back to normal, and I have to really give LeVert and Dinwiddie their due. They held down the fort and frankly the officials robbed them of multiple trips to the line. they absolutely punished Philly with their driving ability.

Going into game 2, I think we need to continue to take away the three point line from them.

Either way, the Nets went on national TV yesterday in the opening game of the playoffs and put everyone on notice. It feels so good to root for a team that actually cares like these guys do and how hard they play.

It also helps that their pg is an absolute liability on offense. Makes it easier to defend them.

Yeah, not defending Simmons past the foul line was a great strategy. Also, I think we need to foul the hell out of him going forward. Dude can't shoot FTs to save his life.

That’s a damn shame for a “PG”

They did a great job on Reddick too. I noticed Dinwiddie was all over him on defense and on offense they attacked him and it worked like Stan the Man's plan. I also noticed they started out with Dlo on Simmons but switched that up putting a bigger defender on him.

Embid and Butler were the only two who were a problem. Shout out to the coaching staff for having a good game plan and in game adjustments.

For game 2 Brooklyn has to cut down on fouls Philly took 42 free throws that's too many.

The refs were calling a lot of garbage though.

They also missed a lot of fouls. Nets should've been to the line a lot more.

Can't worry about what you can't control. They just have to do their part.

Boy I was tanked yesterday. My wife got home and somewhat bitched me out, lol. It was a happy-drunk thanks to the win. I was still able to function through the rest of the evening, but then passed out around 9 o'clock.

LOOKING FORWARD TO MONDAY NIGHT AND THANK GOD I'M ON VACATION THIS WEEK!

god I just had a terrible memory resurface. sorry guys.

2013 playoffs, cruised to that first W against the Bulls and we were all pretty jacked up. I think ESPN was pretty high on us making a dent in the playoffs. Didn't Deron Williams have a nice dunk in that game too? well... we blinked and the series was 3-1 Bulls, and then we're fighting for our lives in game 7.

Here's to a strong encore performance tonight in Philly. Hope to see the team stick to the same gameplan: drive against their bench, plenty of 3 pointers, grab every rebound in sight, and stay out of foul trouble! Anyone know if Embiid is playing tonight? My guess is that he would.

Hahahaha, I wish I don't remember that. I think this team is different tho. We have better coaching, style and mentality.

I'm not saying we win the series but we won't lie down/fold like those teams did.
