Sean Marks is such a god. He’s gunning for that Executive of the Year award.

Of course he wanted to stay. We're that kind of organization.

To be honest, I'm kind of starting to guess there is something else going on here. NO way you get those bargain deals one after another after another. You also add the fact he gets gems in every draft....
Extend Marks again!!!

He is already. There is not one GM in this league that did better job than him.

Compare this to what Jaylen Brown got.

Look at Brown and Prince's numbers from last year.

Marks is making sure that our roster will be a monster when KD comes back

I'm ecstatic that Boston is gonna be paying close to 30 mil a year for Jaylen Brown. He got that based purely on "potential" and his draft position.

Re-signing LeVert and Prince to roughly 66% of Browns contract is incredible. Sean Marks is a top 3 gm in this league.

Another great deal. It's a respectable deal for Prince, yet not rich enough to prohibit his presence on the payroll with the rest of our core. GO NETS!

Perfect. Didn't think he would sign this quick, thought he would test his market. Once guys get here they never want to leave. I'll give Marks a 10 year deal, maybe even a lifelong deal lol. Like you guys said, Levert & Prince >>>>>>>>>>> Brown. Are we over the tax in the following years for this deal? I'm pretty sure we're capped out. Next is re signing Joe Harris.

Great deal for us imo, we paid him his likely market value, while only extending for 2 years and that makes him an easily moveable asset down the line. It is interesting to me that Marks has handed out a bunch of shorter deals, and it kinda allows the possibility of being major players in 2022 free agency, although it's obviously still very early to say.

Taurean's really got to step up the defense to make this a real steal. If he can become solid on that end at the 4, he's going to be great for us. Our offense hit a whole other level whenever our PF could hit their 3s. That spot is gonna get a bunch of wide open looks. He's proven he can knock them down.

I'm hoping this extension is based on the character and work ethic he showed in his short time here. Atlanta fans seem to really hate this guy so I'm sort of keeping my expectations low.

I don't see Hawks fans hating him. Many of them agreed with the trade but that doesn't mean they hate him. It's important that Prince was on a rookie deal and is only on his 4th year as an NBA player. There's still plenty of room for growth left. It is early, but I saw a lot of encouraging things in preseason, and obviously, he can't sustain that level of shooting but we saw him make plenty of good plays. You're right about him needing to step up his defense, but I think he is capable of doing it, we saw it in his rookie year.

Defense isnt a concern for me.... not because he didnt struggle or because its not important... i just look at what allen crabbe was defensively in portand and what he was here and it just removes any doubt i have they can make him at least an average or above average defender. he has more tools then crabbe had and we know these guys will put the work in

Solid contract. His 3pt shot looks very smooth.

Only Harris might be a better 3pt shooter.

I hope Kenny can bring out more of his defense/rebounding because if he can't do it at a high enough level then we can't start Harris/Prince together since we'll get killed defensivelly but offensivelly it's perfection.

I think he has potential to really break out this season.

Michael Grady was on the pre game show saying that Prince grew up poor and was even homeless at one point in his life. Makes me root for the guy even more

Really? I disagree, he’s been a sniper from deep, better than I expected. And he’s been better defensively at the 4 spot.

He had 4 TOs last game though, and for a guy who’s mainly a catch and shoot player, that’s way too many. But otherwise, no real complaints, Harris is the only guy I have more confidence in taking a catch and shoot 3.
