It’s official.
For those who don’t remember, Luwawu-Cabarrot went 24th to Philadelphia after Caris LeVert was selected in the 2016 Draft.

IIRC, the Nets were looking at him in the lead up to the 2016 draft. It doesn't surprise me to see them sign him.

Honestly we could use this guy if he can give us anything defensively. He hasn't show it so far but he has the size.

the issue isnt defenders... we have defenders. the problem is some of our best players... the ones who need to play 30 minutes a night are not good defenders. Harris, Levert, to an extent Kyrie, Allen at times...
We have Nwaba and Temple, but you arent gonna bench levert or harris to get a defender in the lineup when we are a team that has to win with offense.
We likely find a rhythm were we go back to playing a ton of zone like last year and defende smarter. concede the low efficiency shots even if they are wide open and be the best in the league at limiting 3PA. thats what allowed us to be average last year. we cant just defend teams straight up, thats not gonna work
