Our guards defense has been suspect, we're letting guys get too much points and especially rookie guys. We let Morant and Brooks go off on us and now we let these 2 no name guys go off too. Put Nwaba in please. Man this is a bad loss. I would rather have Rose go off for 30 on us than those 2, and Rose didn't even play and we still lost.Looks like Durmmond dominated Jordan, so much for the "big body" experiment. We beat a playoff team yesterday but lose to an 8th seed team at best, man I'm upset at this lost. We keep losing to these scrub teams, it will bite us in the end of the year.

Kyrie is a great point guard but he doesn't play any defense at all. That's exactly why Ja Morant looked good and why a Bruce Brown gave them problems. There's no attention to defense from the point guard position.
Its early in the season, but so far the defense is a problem and it starts at the point.

we are 6 ppg better per 100 possesion with kyrie on the floor defensively. he has been average defensively. he plays plenty of defense. 3 strips of ja morant in the 4th/OT kept us in that game

That's a lie. Kyrie didn't cover Brown when he was scoring same goes to Ja.

Yeah ok. So you believe his defense has been good? Yes or no.

its a statisitcal fact he has not been bad defensively and we are better defensively with him on the floor

i wouldnt had Nwaba starting and playing 12-20 minutes based on how well the lineup with him fares.... thing is who do you sit. sit harris and now you dont have great spacing since nwaba/levert/allen are not great shooters. Sit levert and you no longer have 2 ball handlers which kenny likes. play nwaba for prince and he is PF and you can of lose the benefit of adding a strong G/Wing defender

i can see moving levert to the bench to start games, let kyrie do his thing early, then still play caris 30 minutes and 20-22 of those minutes with kyrie

Return to Brooklyn Nets
