David was balling. He was hitting timely 3s. Turning defense into offense during our driest bench spells. Making adjusted layups. Playing defense above his size. Jumping out of the gym on swats. Locked in on d. Hand in the passing lane. Ball hawking bad ass mf. Bringing hustle, energy and playing within himself. You can't ask for anything more than that from his role. He's the kind of guy you want to take into battle in the playoffs. He might lose some athleticism, but he won't lose the heart of a champion and his ability to think the game.
