I told you we are going to keep him. Sean scouted him heavily and I was on his bandwagon coming into the draft. We took LeVert instead. Yet, after his rookie deal is over. TLC becomes a Net and is currently having the best stretch of his career. Ever.

Sean Marks is an occultist. He has to be performing some kind of magic to be doing this stuff.

I remember that and I doubted you back than. Props to TLC stepping up, he definitely has role on this team.
PS he was raw as hell.

Definitely but it’s actually ironically how Dinwiddie started off as a Net here. I liked the idea of the signing cause of his 6’5 size and he reminded me of a non injured Shaun Livingston but I quickly soured on him during his first two weeks here. I definitely never expected him to transform into an All-Star caliber player before 28. He’s on a Kyle Lowry trajectory. So, it’s hard to put a cap on a guy like TLC who was drafted before Tim Hardaway Jr. He could turn into a mini Nic Batum with the right development and a consistent role.

He has a ton of room to grow here if he can polish his game with our performance team and development staff.

Great game. Listened to a chunk of it on the radio. Prince and Harris coming up huge.

Glad I was wrong about the team spirit at half time. Squad didn't give up even when down 9 late. Huge clutch plays by LeVert, Harris, and Prince. Great job by Kenny getting the guys completely ready for Miami's final play. That's a tricky one if you're not disciplined but we were 100% on top of it.

Really liked what I saw from Musa. He had an awesome hustle play that led to a 3. Rodi was great. I think he should stay in the starting lineup for now.

We badly needed this win. Can't overlook Atlanta but we have a really tough stretch coming up.

Most by a Nets guard since Deron Williams in 2012.

I was right. I didn’t even search anything up for stats. I actually remember that 14
assist game from Deron lol

Prince is a good 1v1 defender. He's not cut out to play zone.

Both true statements. And yet, whenever we switch to zone, Prince remains in the lineup. Maddening, and Kenny really needs to make the adjustment already. We either get zone or Taurean to irritate us, it's not fair to subject us to both.

Yeah, Harris has made a point to go after and get huge O-rebounds late in games. He's expanding his impact.

They got production from the 4 with Kurucs starting and Prince playing his natural position at small forward.

Great win! Go Nets!

Fun game to watch and great win. TLC needs to be resigned, dude has some potential left, might be another one of those Sean Mark "gems". Musa with a nice game, made a great hustle play and knocked down a few 3s. Levert with a bad shooting night but he played well and got timely buckets including those 3s. Our bench seems to be coming along.

This is why I wanted Kurucs in the starting lineup, he's the guy this starting lineup has been missing. A hustle guy, does the dirty work and makes the right plays. Those back door cuts are a thing of beauty, especially with a alley oop. I could see us going on a little run now winning a few games. When he entered the starting lineup last year, we stepped it up to another level. His energy and hustle is contagious. My opinion though.

Dinwiddie with a very good game, but please for the love of god, bro make your free throws ! Harris is kind of in a slump right now. That HEAT squad is pretty good and well coached. Bam is a handful and Herro and Dragic off the bench is killer. They just need to add 1 more star and they'll be contenders.

Holy schmoly. Just watched the game on league pass. I was all ready to be proud and happy with a morale victory. There was so much to like about the game. I LOVED Din and Lev running a pick and roll down the stretch and finally having two playmakers on the floor after watching Din get trapped or stacked up on since christmas.

Holy sh** that JA dunk on Bam, used the perfect amount of elbow on the spin to create space without giving away an offense foul and stuffed right on top of him. God damn that was satisfying. Lots of aggression and hustle. Loads of second chance baskets love to see it. Din setting the table.

Rodi playing with swagger looking like he's all the way back, making it rain to open the game and then giving us some trade mark back cut dunks.

and the mad men went out and won the game against a very polished, well coached team with a stud in Butler. Very impressive.

In case anyone enjoys this kind of thing, "Pseudonym994" did another nice roundup of key plays from the other day, plus analysis of stats from the losing streak here.

Lots of highlights of Rodi, Fro and Prince, and lots of positive signs in terms of the defense, but also negative signs in terms of the offense.

Couple under-the-radar highlights from Fro I quite enjoyed--
CP3 iso's JA at the top of the three point line, but JA stays with him and he's forced to pass to SGA. Rodi ends the possession playing good defense and forcing SGA into a touch shot:

Again, JA is switched onto CP3, but CP3 can't get by him and is forced to pass:

SGA gets JA on a switch, but misses the rim completely on the layup attempt due to JA's defense and length:

Feels GREAT to get a much needed dub vs. a strong Miami team.

We beat them at full strength without Kyrie and KD.

Every player contributed and played gritty. Love it.

Matt Barnes is right. Perk made it personal, he could have easily made his point without trying to dog KD. Oh well, he hasn't learned his lesson because he's still talking ****. And his 2k rating for the 08 Celtics is generous.

And lol @ Charles Oakley taking that shot at Chuck. Oakley has hated that man for almost 25- 30 + years now, I love how the old school ballers still have beef

We are playing our best basketball of the season right now. these last 2 games are vintage brooklyn basketball. just keep chugging away. Chris Paul prevented a W but these past 2 games we have been outstanding. Great to see Levert hit huge shots after what was a poor shooting night, didnt get to him mentally. great to have him back, less pressur eon spencer and temple/prince can play their roles

and it looks like last years kurucs is back.... Our offense missed those easy back door layups/cuts. now with him and joe its vintage brookyln ball

Our D stunk early but Temple solves alot of that. you can hide levert with temple on the floor and switch basically anything

Watch the team play their hearts out against a murderous upcoming schedule, stealing wins here and there, only for the NJS (National Jackass Symphony) to respond: "see? see! they're better without Kyrie!"

Bonus points for being without David Nwaba, who had been beautifully rounding in to form as one of the league's defensive superstars. :/

Atlanta scares me with John Collins back. i wouldnt be surprised if they spoil Kyries debut.
