Strange timing for this, considering they played solid minutes to close out the game tonight, and their +/- numbers together are much better than Kyrie-Levert

They can close out together. But I dont want them starting together or playing together for most of the game.

I don't think we got enough sample size to draw any conclusions. At this point Caris have not met expectations, we can't even rely on him to lead second unit. If there is anything consistent about this team it's inconsistency.

I actually like having Spencer out there with him because Spencer can now get driving lanes to the rim since the defense is focused on Kyrie.

The problem is that Spencer has lost all confidence in his ability to shoot.

Really glad Prince only got 21 minutes. Chandler might take his starting spot. We need someone solid at that 4 spot. Prince needs to earn it by improving his shot selection, moving the ball, and not making mistakes on defense.

I liked Chandler's defense. Offensively he leaves a lot to be desired but Prince can't be trusted at this point. We need to win games and I can't blame Kenny for going to guys that are going to compete to close out games.

I love how we win this game and its "it was just a lottery team" or "they were on a back to back" so somehow the win is dimisnished...

Yet when we lose to philly on the road second of a back to back (in the same fashion we just beat detroit) that loss is a terrible loss. just like losing to elite milwaukke or lakers are terrible losses. or how losing without kyrie and levert means we suck with kyrie and levert.

I told you the schedule is turning and i told you the more time kyrie and levert have back the more we will start to look like the48-52 win team we are when we have those 2.

Also... i love how detroit is now lottery trash, but at the same time we are going to "miss the playoffs" accroding to 6 different posters because i guess detroit is going to overtake us?

You can tell Din is trying to find ways to fit in with Kyrie. Hope we don't get spanked by the Knicks tomorrow, again.

Don't worry.

Apparently we can go 1-6 and Detroit can go 7-0 over the next 7 games and we still have the 8 seed.

#GenuisMath

1) thats not what i said. i said if we did we would be just 2 games back with 30+ games to play

2) we dont need to worry about the pistons, the bulls are now the 9 seed, and we play them soon.

But hey keep telling me how we are going to miss the playoffs. or how if we make it it doesnt matter or how everyone is trash because the team is only .500 or so despite missing their 3 best players for 90% of the season

as always, you are just bitter because you know im right and your going to have to deal with me being insufferable when i am. just like with crabbe. just like with harris, just like with levert, just like with Dlo, just like with last season in this same position when you andothers said we should tank when levert went down or sign carmello and i said we could easily replace what he did and will be fine and oh we were.

go on with that miesry if you want. this team is headed in a great direction

They wont. I like that kenny moved spencer back to 6th man and i like even more that it was a swap with temple and not levert. another shooter around the kyrie-allen pick and roll and another defender.

We would not be 2 games back. Thats whole point. Your math is insanely wrong. I don't understand how you continue to defend that absurd statement.

If the Pistons went 7-0 and we went 1-6, we would NOT be 2 games back. Its complete nonsense. Stop spreading that lie.

I never said we were missing the playoffs or it doesnt matter or that everyone is trash. Now you're just making things up as usual.

I also never said we should tank or sign Carmelo. Again you're just making up lies. I don't know why you pretend I say stuff I never said. In fact, you were the one last year that said we had no shot at making the playoffs and should trade D-Lo for a lottery pick.

Are you seriously trying to pretend you are right about everything?

You literally JUST SAID last month that we would have home court in the playoffs WITHOUT Kyrie. And you said before the season that we would finish 10 games ahead of the Celtics and made several embarrassing sig bets to prove it.

Comon bro. Stop pretending.

Lol... never said that. the day levert went down i said we were fine. everyone jumped down my throat. my and maybe MDB were the onyl ones who gave us a chance

im not right about everything. of course not. but the things i argue specifically with you im always right about, because you take such extreme stances and have no backbone think everyone sucks and the sky is falling as soon as we hit a rough patch

Kyrie got hurt. AND levert.. that changees things. i knwo you think there is no difference between kyrie/levert and pinson/musa but here in reality things are otherwise

You said AFTER Kyrie got hurt that we would still get home court in the playoffs.

You can pretend you never said it but you did. Stop denying your own statements.

You NEVER last season said we would make the playoffs prior to the season. Not once until we started winning more. And you said Russell should be traded. Stop acting like you were so optimistic last year and were the only one who thought we would do well. Its not true.

And how dare you say I have no backbone. Why because Im not celebrating a 19-25 record?

I never said the sky was falling or that everyone sucks. All I said is that if we don't improve we won't make the playoffs. Which is objectively true.

All you do is attack everyone who even slightly criticizes the team like an emotional stan.

Its no wonder you are about to lose 3 sig bets for your delusional positions and are a previously banned poster.

Here is the Mr. "Always right" predicting we would get a 3 or 4 seed AFTER the Kyrie injury.

philly and toronto are only 3 games up, and we play both this week. if we can take care of business vs charlotte then we set ourselves up to close that gap even more.

the 6th seed vs. the 7 seed doesnt matter much, im eyeing the 3 or 4 seed and homecourt in round 1. i dont think philly is all that good and i dont believe in lowry/gasols ability to sustain their health and durability over 82 games.

Also since you claim you never said you wanted to trade Russell here is that quote as well.

I could be wrong because he is young.... but im not a guy who likes to pay for potential. same reason i prefer the nets trade D'angelo russell. yeah he's 21 but im not paying him max money to hope he isnt just a left monte ellis

You pretend like you're some messiah who knew we would be good last year. Even though your predicted 29 wins.
viewtopic.php?f=23&t=1726106&hilit=season+prediction

And somehow you're pretending like you were the only one who believed in this team last season. You wrote us off before the year began.

And I never once said we should tank. You can lie about it all you want, but either quote me or stop the slander. Its honestly pathetic.

I'm pretty sure being down over Levert getting injured is more rational than wanting to trade our All Star Guard before the season.

Thank God you were not in charge of the Nets, even though you pretend like you know everything.

If you had your way we would have traded away Russell, never made the playoffs, and would never have gotten KD and Kyrie.

Most were not bullish on Russell and preffered moving him before he required being paid. I admitted being wrong on Russell, because despite what you say, i do that when it happens, unlike you. who only takes shots at other peoples opinions

I told you we coudl replace what levert was doing and you killed me for it. when we ended up fine, you were nowhere to be found. If i was in charge of the nets we would be where we are only with more picks because i would have never brought in crabbe
