Philly played a terrible game. We were up 20 at one point. The team has to pull this one out. At least not get smashed in OT. 1 point?? No timeouts until the game was over?? Our starters got handled thoroughly this game. Huge minuses all around.

Losses happen. It's fine. But acting like we played well because Philly was awful doesn't make sense to me. We're not some 22-50 rebuilding team developing young guys. On to the next one.

If you want to keep it 100 we should have never been in this game to begin with.

Most of these games we shouldn't be in at all. We only have two guys that can create off of the dribble on this roster, one of whom who just recently started playing well. We have about 70+ million dollars on the injured reserve list. most teams in this position would be battling with the bottom feeders for the #1 pick. Look at the Warriors.

While yes, we could have won this game with better execution, the fact that we're even in the position that we are in is a testament to not only the coaching staff, but the guys who are on the court.

Yup. When you factor in injuries we are a bottom 3 team talent wise in the east. This team gets 110% of everyone.

It is a bad loss. Just some here taking it personally. Me, I just don't want to push Rich. We got bunch of players that not performing to their level. Joe, Prince been shaky to put it nicely and Allen is complete trash. I mean there is a lot to nit pick just not today.

Allen is having a career year and is a top 10 center. We are 6 points per 100 possesions better with him on the floor. He has been nothing short of unreal, especially for a 20 year old.

Harris and prince have been solid. No role player is going to look great wen you ask them to be featured players.

You simply dont know what you are talking about

I can see you decided not to watch the game. anyone who did knows we played an outstanding game vs. the leagues best home team. Philly played awful? nonsense.

Atkinson was masteful all night mixing it up and finding the units that had it going. Philly is rougly 100 times better than us and we went toe to toe on their floor. We have been playing great basketball. last night was another outstanding effort.

You make it sound like this is a team of 50 year olds. everyone on this roster is developing.

The thing is you think this is a bottom 3 roster in the East and you think the team should be 20 games under .500. Your expectations are super low. If we don't piss ourselves, you're happy with the performance.

Our 2nd unit had a nice run in the 2nd quarter. Outside of that, our starters got demolished. 2 of our starters were 100% unplayable. Our offense was dreadful. Ask any Philly fan if they think they played well. They get ran off the floor by any decent team yesterday.

We showed grit but execution wise, the team was bad top to bottom. It's fine it happens but it's nothing to celebrate.

Without Kyrie/Durant we do have one of the worst rosters talent wise. i mean, name 3 worse?

We are relying on an oft injured late first round pick who cant shoot and a g-league reclamation to lead our team.

and "nice run" we had like a 40-6 run, thats not nice, its epic

team is playing above their heads. they were great last night. you cant expect to beat teams 100 times better than you who are elite at home.

That 40-6 run was not entirely the bench but it began when DJ, Temple, Wilson, and TLC came in. I think at one point Philly went damn near half the 2nd quarter w/o hitting a FG. It was unreal

This loss was a gut wrencher. We should've closed out better in the 4th.

Sucks we took that L after an excellent comeback.

Philly was 25-2 at home so I had little hope of a win here but looked like we could have pulled it off but collapsed once again.

Overall, we played them tough till end at their gym and had been playing playoffs level opponents during this part of our schedule and performing admilarably even getting a couple of wins.

Until KD and Kyrie are backing, we will continue to suffer finishing off games.

Embiid last night was a monster but got tons of BS calls in his favor but that's the NBA in 2020. Guys like Hardern, Lowry and Embiid to name a few just have a way of making the refs give them an advantage in this department.

Our bench was GREAT last night. It's true, DJ looks past his prime and tends to have stone legs but his size/strength and instincts are still there and is something we lacked even last season to battle Embiid/Type centers. Guys like Chandler/TLC/temple came in and gave us a boost on D and made things happen on O.

Our starters were the problem in this game IMO.

Fro was WEAK. Pains me to say it but he was very bad and looked all out of sorts.

Lately I noticed Kenny has/had been benching him and not even playing him in the 4th quarters in favor of DJ or small ball so curious to see if his confidence is being impacted here. What makes it weird is that in some of those games the Fro was having an excellent game but still was not chosen by Kenny to finish the game... dog house?

Prince is who he is. He is not a starter level player because he is super inconsistent on offense and awful on defense. I really want him to succeed because he has a great story but it is the truth.

Joe Harris was smothered all night long so it was hard for him to get going. Once KD and/or Kyrie are back, he'll have more breathing room to do his thing.

LeVert made some good plays throughout the game but also had bad momemts. It is worrisome that he's still struggling to finish in the paint but I am still hopeful he'll continue to get his rhythm and get where he needs to be. At least his 3 ball looks improved and not as wild this season.

Dinwiddie had a solid game but made one bad decision after the other in crunch time. Sound familiar?
He needs to find a way to limit his brainfart moments during pressure situations. Other than that he's really good.

Onto the next one. Must make up this L and take out on the Hornets tomorrow.

Fro will actually be 22 in exactly two months.

I get that he's efficient and productive in his role, but I agree with others here that it's a pretty limited role, and he could do more, while not breaking character. I don't think it's wrong to hope for something like that, such as continuing to get stronger, as well as having some kind of short range go-to shot, as well as maybe-hopefully being able to hit open jumpers when needed.

I guess if there's an upside for the Nets, it's that if he never develops further, his next contract shouldn't break the bank.

God damnit. Just watching the replay now. That game was right there in regulation. 8 different ways we could've won that.
