DJ looked terrible in that first game. Allen is seriously much better. Allen should play more minutes at least even if DJ starts. That's what I think. I know DJ is KD's best buddy but I would really hate it if this friendships will get in the way of getting the optimal performance of this team. DJ will need to play better but I would still prefer Allen because he will keep improving. He is only 22.

Jordan is going to force Nash's hand if he doesn't play with some urgency come next week.

Allen has always been better than Jordan, but he kind of does have himself to blame a bit for having to come off the bench...he got outplayed by Jordan in the 2nd half of the season and legitimately lost his starting job. This was after I thought he looked like an All-Star up to that point.

He tends to go invisible for not just stretches of a game, but stretches of an entire season. But he's only 22, hopefully, he starts to develop that consistency, and then I don't think Jordan has much of a chance to remain the starter, unless Allen gets traded.

Hopefully some more games and conditioning will scrape the rust off.

Kyrie played like an MVP right out of the gate,

Prince and Shamet played better than I was expecting.
