Patience is obviously needed but it's hard to take any positives from that game. I know KD didn't play but the big three have to find the right balance between them. Knowing how talented they are i'm hoping it won't take them long.

Kyrie was great again and looks to be the same player off-ball that he is on ball. encouraging with Harden here.

other then that, yeah not much. glad we play tonight

Losing Allen has made this team even worse in the long run. Honestly, what does it matter if we can score 150 points when we can't defensive rebound or get stops?

Last night was the most frustrating game of the year. Kyrie and Brown were the only ones playing with any urgency and even then we were getting gouged by Cleveland's guards on defense.

This is a mess and Marks played himself by overloading on guards and not ensuring that we had enough pieces defensively. Landry Shamet should be sent to the end of the bench after last night.

If we get beat by a depleted Miami team it will speak volumes.

I dont really see an issue with losing allen. its been a week since we made the deal, takes time to reshuffle the deck. we can get rebounders and shot blockers, they are out there. so are energy guys like RHJ. Marks overloaded on guards at a time when harden did not seem likely or even a thing yet. he needed to pivot.

This team will be somewhere between great and elite by the end of the year. Next year, when we can make offseason moves, even better.

I think most of us need to calm down and not overreact. Fans expect way too much right away. Fans are understandably frustrated, and I get it, I am too. But these sort of knee jerk reactions based off one or two games won't do anyone good. We were all singing a very different tune after the Bucks win, and two games later, its suddenly calamity. Cavs are a bad matchup for us and we played them twice at the worst possible time. The roster isn't complete yet, and the team has barely had any practice time together. On top of all that, Nash has had an incredibly challenging task as a rookie head coach to make this all work, given the circumstances. Fans need to be patient and understand all this.

Maybe not this season but next season you get an offseason to pick the pieces to surround the big 3. Just about every big 3 struggled in the first year.

Not saying Nets can't make a championship roster this season. Just saying it's probably too high an expectation for year 1.
