^^Explain to me why this is Steve Nash's fault?
A game ago, apparently not playing Deandre Jordan enough was the problem.

DJ is done. 10 mill in dead cap space. Sucks but that is the reality of things.

He'll still have his moments here and there but he isn't what this roster needs to salvage our situation.

Our biggest need is acquiring a Center that can play good defense, protect the rim, be able to move his feet on switches, and rebound the ball. We don't need another stretch 5 since Green can do it.

I wasn't 100% down with the Harden trade when it went down but I'd still do it 10/10 times. It saved Caris' life and that's enough for me.

An out of shape Harden can average mvp stats but we need him to be better if he wants to get that ring.

He must be more aggressive on offense when KD is not on the floor and must cut down on TOs. He just looks out of shape which is crazy considering how many minutes he plays. Defensively he's a strong post defender for his size + has quick hands but his on the ball defense + contest is horrendous. Playing Harden alongside a big like DJ is asking to get destroyed on D. Throw in Kyrie and Joe who's a decent but not great defender and this is the result. KD is the only + defender on our starting line up.

I think Marks WILL have to make some type of move or get lucky in the buyout market. No way this team is good enough to win it all.

Because he's still giving Deandre Jordan minutes. :P

I would actually agree, if the alternative wasn't either Jeff Green at center or a G league cast off. :-?

It really doesn't matter if we play Green at center or Jordan, the result is the same: no inside presence, no defensive rebounding.

This team is so **** ed it's making me want to day drink

Jordan and Shamet and an SRP could be enough to get Dieng. It's a salary match.

I would do it. Doubt Marks will since KD and Kyrie will balk. Harden appears to be already tired of DeAndre's nonsense.

That's too much for Dieng. He's having a great year but it doesn't seem sustainable, and he's a career, overpaid backup big.

Well most of it is to dump Jordan, the guy has 3 years. You could be watching him as a starter for 3 years.

This is year 2, he has two more years left. We don't need to dump Jordan anyway, he can have his value as a backup center/locker room vet. You can just use Dinwiddie's contract.

Dinwiddie should definitely be kept, he likely opts in. Kyrie, Harden, Harris, Brown, Dinwiddie sets the 1-3 rotation. Shump will cover him this season.

The main need is a backup wing defending PF and two decent defensive and rebounding Cs. That fixes everything and Jordan/Shamet is what you use to get the starting C. Use DPE to get Noel/McGee. Use TMLE on a buyout big wing defender.

There's zero chance imo that Dinwiddie opts in. Woj recently said that teams are interested in trading for his bird rights, and that he can command a $70-80 mill contract in free agency, even after torn ACL.

Yep Spencer is getting paid so we have to trade him ASAP.

Really? I assumed he'd opt-in for the opportunity to compete and then take a payday.
