I think we already have filled the LMA spot. its more minutes for Blake Griffin. he is that floor spacing 5 and post presence. I like him over LMA there too because he offers rim protection in the form of taking charges and he is more mobile to get out high to set screens more quicky. LMA set good screens but he was slow to get from the block ot the top of the key to set it, gives the D more time to communicate it.

Screening is low key a very underrated things. People just assume all bigs can do it about the same. But there is so much to it. What made allen so great at it was that he was quick to get from the low block to above the top of the key, then set a solid screen and dove quick. Claxton is similar. Blake is similar on the screen part less so the role.

I think C looks like:

Claxton 28, Blake 12, Green 8 with green or blake going to close to 0 minutes once the big 3 are back for the playoffs.

TJ is also low-key a big addition when he is back. he was one of the few 2 way smalls we had

I agree but we still need to fill that spot even if it's the last roster spot left. Rather have a full roster . We can just get a 3rd stringer big just in case or we can get another wing. I don't think we should just leave that spot blank.

I'm still kind of irked we didnt sign dedmond. he is a perfect fit. he blocks shots, can roll, can rebound, and can shoot the 3. seems like a perfecr dantoni fit.

Rondae has looked good to is and is starting next game.

I dont care if we get a small or a big. but go get me a proven bulldog. i dont care if they have been jobless. RHJ/Dedmon have shown these guys are ready and can still contribute. Get me MKG. jersey kid, tough as nails, played with Kyrie...

Demarre caroll is out there... sindarius thornwell, Kenneth Faried (who thriced with harden in Houston), Traveon Graham.

we dont need an allstar. its the final bench spot. guys we sign are gonna have flaws. but those names and others are tough and can help situationally

With how injury riddled our team has been to where we have seen the Big 3 play together like what, one time, I really don't like our chances right now. Durant can't stay on the court.

The only team in that trio that remotely concerns me is the Heat. We would beat philly in 5 even without KD.

I'm actually much more concerned about a path that would require us to play the knicks, heat, and celtics. Those 3 teams would beat us up, back down from no one, and are loaded with guys who show up in the playoffs. To me, Boston and Miami are the onyl real threats. Knicks are a sweep, but they would beat us up in the process.

The 76ers are super soft. and Milwaukee cant score with us. Giannis cant keep up with our guys over 7 games. it would be a longer series, but they dont have much of a shot.

Boston/Miami have better coaching, length/2-way players on the wing, and have stepped up in big games

It comes down mostly to hardens health. if we have him we are good

Also, people are giving up the 1 seed like we are 5 games out with 4 games to play.

Philly lost last night. We are 1 game back and this week its:

Nets pelicans
Nets Raptors (actively tanking)
Nets Celtics

76ers suns
76ers bucks
76ers bucks (back to back)

Even with KD and a loss to boston we could be up 1 game on them by sunday.

If Harden is back next week we could go on like a 12-2 run to close the season also. with harden, we are close to unbeatable

We need to see actual availability before I start making predictions at this point. KD can't stay healthy and it's concerning

I'd be more worried if it was related to the achilles. bumps and bruises happen and are not critical. The Hammy was a huge concern for me but playing a few games without a set back was huge and them being super careful with it paid off

my biggest cocnern in the leagues BS covid stuff pulling guys mid game and what not. but that can happen to anyone.

Honestly im much more concerned with harden. i think we come out of the easy with just harden/kyrie and great shot at a title. With Kyrie/KD im not so sure.

This is what happens when you let the little head do the thinking instead of the big head. Can't say I haven't done the same thing myself. But you would think during these times our players would have minders.

This has to be the most comical thread title we've had since "Joe Harris has left the Bubble"......

More idiotic takes from the GB by NO-KG-AI

"Like I said plenty of times. KD and Steph teaming up on a team with two other all stars didn’t help anyone but Warrior fans and the organization. All the players involved were miserable and the two titles didn’t bring them the validation they thought they deserved and wanted.

Steph and Durant didn’t do their legacies any favors with the two rings tbh.

Is anyone but a Warrior fan going to tell me that Steph scoring mid 20’s and missing whole playoff rounds in route to a title is better than the fireworks we’re getting now?"

An absolutely absurd take. Did winning last year help Lbj and AD's legacies? You bet it did.

The good news is, the doctor (and Proko's) optimism was rewarded.

KD had the scan and apparently it was the least severe thigh contusion.

IOW's he figures to miss the next two games and not much more than that, if at all.
