One good basket in an overall terrible game.

Its literally one game and youre giving up on the Nets. Just stupid.

If we win Game 2 the entire series shifts.

And youre acting like its impossible after we lost on a game winner

i gave up on the nets before the series. game 1 went how i expected. this is boston in 5 unless ben flips it

Well your predictions haven't been the best this season anyway.

You told me there was 0% chance the Nets would fall to 8 and you insisted Harden hadn't declined and will still a superstar.

I said Nets in 6 and I'm sticking to it.

Lol

Can’t keep a tough guy like Ben Simmons down

Are you trying to like, rile people up or something? if so maybe go to the sixers board. Nets fans are not even a little bit upset at Ben for not having suited up yet. We dont mind if he doesnt play at all this year.

Youre being extremely hyperbolic.

KD being a bad passer out of double teams is not some fatal flaw that can be exploited by other teams consistently.

Hes the best player in the world. He can make adjustments and pass to the other player.

He also will start making a ton of shots freeing up Kyrie. Something we never saw last game.

If you really think Boston can limit KD you are delusional. He is unstoppable.

i think most teams CAN replicate it.

If it was that simple to stop KD we would have seen it a long time ago.

KD had an off game. Its really that simple.

those 2 things are linked. Harden being a fat D-bag dog is what dropped us to 8. so hand up i own that.

ive been pretty spot on with nash and KDs turnovers.

Nash I agree.

You won't convince me we can't beat the stupid Celtics though.

I can’t wait to see what the team looks like with Simmons and some continuity next season. I hope Marks makes some good moves to get this team where it needs to be. As much as I want the Nets to win it this year, I really wa t to see one full year of these guys ALL playing together.

The fact Nash hasn’t remotely thought of using Griffin or Aldridge yet in spot minutes over Drummond is just incredibly mind boggling. A toddler could figure out how to match up with certain lineups.

This dude is parading around this nine man rotation thing like he’s invented water.

This is the perfect series to use Blake WHO LEADS THE **** NBA IN CHARGES DRAWN IN BACK TO BACK SEASONS.

What was the exact point of waiving JJ if we aren’t using Kessler or Griffin or LMA?

This dude is legitimately painful to watch coach the best team we’ve ever had.

So sick of people like this , if u gave up go on vacation and don’t bother watching , rooting and commenting, why you here ?
Making comments it’s one thing , saying you gave up before jump ball game 1 is ridiculous, why watching sports ?
There is several european football teams , that for saying words like this before a match you would be crucified, expelled and simply they would’ve made laughingstock out of you

If this is your way to support a team , your way suck , and don’t bother me a thing if you leave and never comeback and nets will have 4 true fans instead of 5

Exactly.

This giving up after one game is so pathetic.

Where is the pride?

Were not down 3-1. Were down 1-0.

The series is just getting started. If youre giving up then go watch Netflix or some ****. We don't need you.

You can support a team while predicting they lose. its called not being a blind homer. i can also loyal support a team without them being a champion, its called not being a front runner.

He didn't make "several" big baskets. LOL

No he didn't do enough to help us win. He left Kyrie on his own to do everything.

We still are the most talented team. And KD is the best player.

We should win.

Crying about 1 game is just stupid.

Why do you follow sports if you just give up the minute something goes wrong?

He didn’t do anything to help us win? That’s hyperbole to say the least. I’m being realistic about this team based on a large sample size. We’re now praying for Ben Simmons to make his debut in the middle of a playoff series to save us. We’re cooked.

I wish you guys were cooked. As celts fan I have to agree with a poster here who said the Celtics played well but the Nets didn’t. The fact that Celts won by a half of a second in happy but also very worrisome. Especially with Ben coming back. There’s lots of valid criticism of Simmons but he’s a great defensive player and he’ll find stand still shooters in rhythm.

The Celtics player pretty poorly. They missed tons of wide open shots (6-19 on "wide open" threes (no defender withing 6 feet)). They fouled a ton giving brooklyn easy points at the FT line. they allowed Kyrie to go isolation (166 PP100 in iso) with durant on the bench. They missed several easy bunnies at the rim and put backs.

KD played bad. but honestly the KD/Kyrie combo likely doesnt do much better. They had 63 points on 44 shots (7-15 from 3( and 13/14 FT). Whatever extra we see from KD likely drops off from Kyrie. both are probably closer to 30 points on 20-22 shots... which gets us right back to what they had in game 1.

it will take a combined 70-80 points on good to great efficiency for the nets to win. meanwhile, boston just need to go from terrible to avg on super wide open threes and game 1 is a blowout laugher

Udoka > Ime is an enormous difference. much bigger then any gap between KD to Tatum even if KD is playing great
