He ain't wrong. Of course we'll have to see regular season games of right now he's correct.

What's up with them? They have some good players tbh

They were getting smoked by the Knicks. Forgot how much they were down by, but it was at least 30 pts.

Once Allen came in, we went on a massive 23-4 run with KD and locked them up every time down.

As long as he's out there to close, it doesn't matter much. Dinwiddie just seems like an awkward fit with KD and Kyrie, especially with Jordan also out there clogging things up. Dinwiddie just looks very hesitant out there. If they want to keep LeVert in the Manu role, I would not be shocked if Nash eventually swaps a guy like Shamet in for Dinwiddie.

Defensively, KD looks like he wants to patrol the paint like a center. I expected a good amount of small ball, but it may be more than anyone expected.

Boston started the 2nd half with a 10-0 run and cut our lead to 9 I believe. But then we responded back and completely shut them down for the remaining 3rd quarter. KD and Kyrie played the whole quarter, making plays.

Dinwiddie will be fine, just needs to make his open catch & shoot 3s, and do better on his drives to the basket. Dinwiddie is usually making quick decisions with that lineup, which is important. Levert works great with the 2nd unit as the lead guy.

I liked what I saw with LeVert in with KD and Kyrie. He should be in the death line up to finish games.

Looking like we're not getting any Bruce Brown tonight. Is he alright?

I really don't like Spencer at SG. He doesn't seem to look comfortable

I feel the same way but I want to give MDA, Dinwiddie, and the staff 10 or so games to figure it out.

We’re so lucky that we can put almost anybody around KD & Kyrie and still have a dominant offense, so having Dinwiddie struggle in finding out whether he can succeed as the off-guard shouldn’t be too detrimental for us (unless Din keeps forcing these idiotic passes to DJ).

Caris is a better floor general/traditional PG than Dinwiddie, so I actually understand having Caris as ‘our Ginobili’ off the bench, as Nash suggested.

I was skeptical of it and dimsissed the idea quickly but watching these 2 games i really love Dinwiddie on the floor with that starting unit. his length gives us alot of sneaky value. defensively on help and switches. another guy who can rebound and push the ball. and another great iso player for when opponents switch. he is good enough from 3 you cant leave him wide open either. and he seems willing to sacrafice shots and touches.

I was thinking the same thing, Shamet to me would really cause some damage at SG

Irving/Shamet/Harris/KD is God tier floor space. I would just give the ball to Kyrie and let him work

I have a strange feeling he’s going to end up playing some important minutes for us (assuming health) later in the season and into the playoffs, especially when we’re going to need important defensive stops in a half-court setting.

I could be totally wrong though lol.

Right on cue, Brown with a fantastic block to stop a fast break bucket.

Return to Brooklyn Nets
