There's a reason why all of the guys who are currently free agents are out there.

T Wolves fans raved about Rondae before he got cut for roster purposes. He's still only 25 and we know he plays with energy and is disruptive defensively and can hit the glass. I could care less about his shooting we needed a defender at SF/PF

go get Rondae, Faried, MKG, and Shumpert. we would have all the tools at our disposal

My guess is Marks uses one of the slots soon, but holds the other two for buyout guys, hoping on Ariza, McGee, Robin Lopez, Rudy Gay and a few others.

Probably goes for one of RHJ or MKG and holds on the other spot.

Faried could be a good pickup, but his main things are rebounding and dirty work, yet he's a relatively poor defender. Wouldn't mind it by any means, but that slot could be better used in the near future.

Those spots can be cleared easily.... and there wont be hard feelings since these guys cant find jobs....

Like if you gave shumper two 10-day contracts or even a vet minimum and then cut them you gave him a shot to show he can sitll play and some cash. if you cut him later cause someone bought out a good player you need to sign, thats how it goes and they are better off for it too.

There is also some dead weight. with Harden here we dont need chiozza and TJ.

I think Faried is a need beyond his defense. Outside of DJ we really lack big athletes. Perry hustles but heisnt an above the rim player. and who knows if/when we will ever see claxton this year

RHJ doesnt work for most teams because of his shot... but most teams wouldnt be using him as a utility player. And his contract demands are likely higher for a non-contender or middle america nowhere city.

For us, his shot is less an issue, since we can but 3-4 elite shooters around him if we needed to. and we can give him DNP-CDs if his D isnt needed at any given moment.

I would really love to see us sign O'quinn. i dont know if he has an injury or something im not aware of. he didnt get much burn the past 2 years in philly or indy but the 3 years prior with the knicks he was outstanding defensively.... he is a bruiser too, and with stars its nice to have an enforcer. At the very least, he is as good as reggie perry

O'Quinn has always been a solid rebounder and plus defender. Makes me wonder why he didn't land on with a team, but we could use another big body that can bang and board.

I would love to have Shumpert back, I think other than dumb fouls (which we're getting plenty of with TLC anyway), he's a very solid defensive wing. He does get a little trigger happy, but he can be a capable spot up shooter.

Capable 3 and D wings are hard to get, especially at a bargain.

Let's not go on a buying spree now. If we're signing guys, they need to be better than what we have now and fits a specific role that we need.

I’m totally cool with bringing back Shumpert as well but I think we need a 3&D forward who can get physical and dirty.

Dinwiddie could’ve been included if it wasn’t for his injury for PJ Tucker and possibly, House. Ugh.

If we can figure out a way to upgrade TLC that would be great. A 3&D wing is definitely needed. Another bruising Center would be nice too in case DJ gets hurt. THink the team is good in terms of Guards for now.

Marks will probably wait to see what the buyout market looks like before making unnecessary moves.

Do you think that the Nets will give a chance to Michael Beasley?
He is Durant's friend if I remember well, he plays in a position of need for the Nets and he can be acquired for a minimum contract.

Alex Len just got released by the Raptors. I believe he has 3pt range and can defend the rim a bit. He's a big body if nothing else.

Look out for PJ Tucker if he gets bought out by the Rockets or a trade. They are looking for a second round pick

Pass on Len. If the raptors who desperately need a C is passing on him then that about says it all.

RHJ for the min would be ideal as a depth signing. However not sure he will take it with no guarantee on minutes.

Big space eating centre is still the #1 priority but Len is not the one.

Ideal scenario is

Ariza
Whiteside
Faried

Biggest (only?) Need is a centre to split minutes with Deandre and a 3/4 combo forward to take TLCs minutes

RHJ and Kenneth Faried

I didn't want to give up Faried when we had him, and we could have used him in the playoffs against the Sixers that year. That is assuming he is could get back into NBA shape.
