Can you tell Harden LOVES being here? He turned into the new Theo Pinson tonight

1. Perfect synergy between Harden and Kyrie. Wow. Played off each other beautifully. You could tell Harden was always making sure Kyrie was involved.
2. People are going to look at the final score and trash our defense. I don't think it tells the story at all of how we played on that end. Definitely not perfect but we played really hard. We were switching up coverages a lot. I think that's the first time I've seen a zone this year. It didn't work but I liked the idea. We started trapping SGA hard. Guys were actually rotating and contesting a lot. I think the score looks a little better if Theo Maledon didn't turn the sliders all the way up on his shots. 6 for 6 on 3s. And I swear he hit like 2 long 2s where his foot was on the line. Easily could've been 7 for 7.
The one thing that Harden, Kyrie, and KD have done that I've noticed is that they do not lose confidence in their guys. I saw Perry stone hand a sweet pass from Kyrie on an offensive possession that was a sure basket. Next time down the floor, Kyrie gets into the gut of the defense, hits Perry again and this time Perry collects, gathers, and powers his way to a lay up through 2 defenders in a big body play. Kyrie could have easily refrained from passing to him but he said nah, we're going to do this again.
Harden, Kyrie KD constantly look for TLC. They don't get mad when he misses, they just keep feeding him.
These guys are showing some leadership and faith in a bench that really isn't that good. But they keep the team's morale high by continuing to let guys play through it. Even with Shamet, you see that they are still going to feed him even though he's been terrible. It's a positive sign even though this isn't sustainable and we need at least two more solid rotational players for a playoff run.
Yeah you can tell these guys just want to win. Big 3 all know they can get their 30 anytime they want but they need other guys stepping up and playing with confidence if they want to be champions.
Best part is in the games that matter it'll be the stars taking the big shots, these guys are killers. You won't seeing a LeBron hot potato to a Danny Green brick scenario at the Nets.

Nice game without any drama. We need more of these lol. I liked what Perry gave us in this game. Definitely his best game as a pro. TLC and Shamet were solid. Bruce Brown is a dog nuff said. Kyrie and Harden are unbelievable players. Good to see Joe get his rhythm back. Best game since we blew out Boston a month ago on Christmas.

I like Perry, he was active on the boards and defensively. He's also at the right places around the rim for easy points, and he can shoot. Hope he sticks around. Glad Shamet and TLC made some shots, we need both of them to get their rhythm back. Kyrie/Harden did their thing easily, love to see those guys getting that chemistry right.
Excited to see who we sign to fill out the roster. I'm sure it'll be 2 non guaranteed contracts. Fingers crossed for RHJ. I know Marks is going to sign a guy from left field like he did with Pelle

Really? I gotta watch it again. They mostly talked about the 90s, the wrestling business and anniversary of the Doggystyle album.

Really? Almost 20 years. That’s insane.
Yup. We have sole possession too.
Also, Nets scored 147 with 9 players in double figures for the second time in NBA history since 1984.

You got in on the r/wsb craze?
Yep, but as explained in a previous post I got in early before the media caught wind of what was happening, but I bailed on most of my shares because I think that this is gonna end badly for a lot of the folks.
The people on WSB are crazy as hell but I loved what they were doing. However, I think that a lot of them are gonna lose a lot of money when things come to a head.

I could very well be wrong/misinformed but I’m pretty sure I remember some people saying that Snoop didn’t challenge Taker on either his support of Trump or something specifically Trump-related.
Politics aside, I’ve seen a few other Undertaker interviews and he really seems like a cool dude. So different from his wrestling persona lol.

Not gonna lie, I think DeAndre has stepped up in a big way since the trade. At least in terms of effort. Whatever issues are there with him now are just who he is as a player...I can't knock his effort though, he's actually contesting most shots in his area and he's moving his feet. It's like he's realized that he's the only legit C on the roster right now lol.
Probably has a lot to do with Harden's arrival, but he's also been much better offensively in terms of being a lob threat and finisher around the rim after a dump off. Since the trade, he's averaging 11/7/2/2 on 85% shooting.
I feel better about our matchups against bigs like Embiid and Giannis if this is the DeAndre we keep getting.

Yeah, Jordan still gets overhated on a bit. like people bashing him 2 plays into the game. he has been solid. he has a role and he plays it. Nash didnt do him any favors having us go over on every 1-5 pick and roll and asking him to guard a pointguard coming down hill while also preventing a lob

It's nice that we've been able to afford giving Perry some minutes off the bench. I just wish we could see some Claxton soon.
But I think it is becoming evident that we need another big body at some point. If something were to happen to Jordan, even though he plays limited minutes and not at all in 4th quarters, I'd like to get another big man who can play a similar role to DJ. I suppose we can still wait to see what the buyout market looks like. After all, the focus is continuing to see how the big 3 play and gel.

Yeah he has his warts but I think that he's been playing well overall after the trade. We will have a solid rotation up front once we can get another big on the buy out market

I use etrade. I made a decent return on the hype (I got in when the share price was like 29 bucks per) but after seeing all of the blatant market manipulation going on and people being locked out of an alleged free market while the hedge funds were able to trade away, I sold most of my shares at $345 yesterday morning and left a few in for the hell of it. I originally had 35, I sold 30 and I have 5 left sitting there to see what will happen, either I can make some more money if the price goes up (doubt it after what I saw on Friday) or i can sell it once it hits my stop loss.
I was kind of skeptical at first but after researching it, I said what the hell and bought in. It was a solid gamble. Some dude from reddit who spearheaded the whole thing is sitting on 14 million right now from this.
