Kyrie not being great at getting to the FT line is why he falls short of the best offensive players in the game. He's an incredible shot maker, like Kobe and Hakeem, so good defense doesn't bother him the same way it would other players, but that's never going to be as efficient as getting easy points from the FT line. Kobe and Hakeem knew how to get to the line, Durant knows how to get to the line, Harden obviously does too...it kind of wastes an early bonus situation as well.
