I think Atlanta would smoke us in a 9/10 matchup, not gonna lie.

You'll be fine, I think Charlotte and Brooklyn both have a chance to pass Cleveland and Cleveland falls to 9th, the way they are playing

That'd be nice, but if tonight was any indication it's hard to see the Nets get up for any of the remaining games on their schedule so they're likely to not win enough to move up from 9...

Worst loss of the season, by far, in a must win game. absolutely embarrassing and again the coaching staff costs us a win. Marks needs to be fired and nash with him. at this point, nash still having a job is a marks issue and its inexcusable.

Nash had already chalked this game up as a loss before it began. making a hundred exuses before the game... oh well we got in at 4am, oh well its a back to back... oh well we gotta hope we have our legs tonight...

Hey shlthead, maybe if youre worried about fatigue play more then an 8 man rotation. worried about fatigue? why is kessler playing just 3 minutes? why is Cam thomas getting a DNP? Blake a DNP? Drummond getting 30+ minutes?

propr to drummond but dude was legit walking the last 3 minutes while nash has blake and claxton glued to the bench.

Kyrie finally gets it going late... so we dont go to him another possession the rest of the way?

Isiah thomas is on the floor, we run 0 pick and rolls to force a switched mismatch?

They run zone, were chucking up contested shots instead of running KD or someone to the FT line.

Lamello cant miss... just keep switching drummond on him or helping off him giving him open shots.

F you nash, f you bro.

bitches about back to backs and getting in at 4 am but then plays all his starters huge minutes.

as i said all year.... not having kyrie hurts, but most of our embarassing losses we still lose with him. hard to overcome the 20 points nash throws away each game

We consitently LOSE to teams on a back to back, missing multiple starters.

yet somehow we can win ever win one.

Based on what? ATL has no ball handlers outside of Trae Young and John Collins is likely out for the season. Just stick Bruce Brown on Trae for the whole game and their offense will collapse.

it doesnt matter, because even if we beat atlanta we arent winning the 2nd game.

but we wouldnt beat atlanta anyhow, because nash is a moron

And last night the two Stags we got enjoyed plenty of rest, along with the other starters after the game was in the hand.

I wondered why no clax or even brown down the stretch?

Nash should've rested KD in the 3rd going into the 4th but noooooo, **** guy just flops as a coach.

Now Charlotte was not missing... that was their only way to win.

Ours shouldn't be left to 3 ball or nothing, get back to running at the rim, create **** plays. Live at the elbow... **** stupid lethargic response

This is a truly demoralizing loss.

Blowing out the Heat means nothing if you follow it up with this crap.

I don't really care if its a b2b. Were in desperation mode.

This was a must win game. To keep us in 8th and give us a tie breaker over Charlotte. Instead we blew it.

Kyrie, KD were awful. No excuses. We needed them to step up.

Defense was utter trash. Same problem all season. Wide open 3s.

And again the primary issue, NASH! Wouldn't call a timeout when we were bleeding in the 3rd.

His insistence in playing Johnson. And his refusal to play Blake! Blake was bombing away 3s last game. Why not give him a shot???

When we needed some type of shooting from someone.

6 seed is out of the question now. Hard to see us even getting the 7th. Will be a battle to get 8th.

Waste of an amazing crowd who came to see Kyrie tonight. Not much hope left for me after this.

This was the worst loss in a long time. I was willing to forgive the Dallas/Memphis losses. Not this one.

Mills was a +16 in 11 minutes... why not play him more in a game where guys are tired?

Blake 0 minutes. guy if anything is good for energy, hustle and momentum plays. Drummond was completely gasses walking on the court in the 4th. We played elite defense vs the heat the shifts that KD + Claxton + Kessler were on the floor together. but kessler plays 3 minutes in a game where again, nash bitched about fatigue.

we should have won this game coasting, even with the b2b and off nights from kyrie/KD. Hornets didnt even play well.

We are 2-11 in the second of a back to back. PATHETIC.

back to backs are games that require more coching and adjustments cause you wont have your best effort from the players. its no surprise our trash coaching is 2-11 in those.

Typical Nash hating here; you never hold the players making their shots accountable. Last night was not a coaching issue, it was a players couldn’t make shots issue. When a team plays zone and you can’t make a shot, DRIVE and ATTACK. Nets were also tired from landing so late and barely sleeping. Nets can still secure 8 or even 7. Hornets play Nuggets and we have a pretty easy schedule.
