Defense was good. Offense needs to be better.

Enough bad shooting from 3. Yuta was huge.

Simmons also played great. Enough hate on the guy. Hes rounding back into form.

2-2 on the road trip, the 2 losses were humiliating but the great positive is that Ben looks like he's ready to play basketball again.

Some really boneheaded plays by KD late: Offensive foul, missed FT, fouling Nurkic up 3. He tries to do too much late. Some very questionable calls by the refs as well, but we finally got something to go our way. This was a big win. While it was not always pretty, going 2-2 on a west coast trip is solid. Most teams would sign up for that ahead of time.

Ben is getting much better. We need to be patient. Going 3-4 from the line during Hack-a-Ben should be a good boost of confidence.

It's a blessing n a curse to rely on Yura from 3... scary that Joe n Seth aren't getting it done(Joe was early)

Ben is getting back little by little n I like it for him. Keep it going!

Joe and Seth will be better once Kyrie is back.

They are money but not if they're getting 2nd option defensive attention.

Vaughn is way better than Nash , he got more technicals in 5 games than Nash in 2.5 years

Game ball goes to Jacque.

Took Sumner out 1:30 into the second half and he didn't see the floor again because he made 3 bad plays in a row. Took Harris out at one point for the same reason. You could see the accountability.

He was really shuffling lineups in and out and trying to find something that worked. Even played Ben almost the whole 3rd because he was playing well. It felt like experimenting but in a smart way.

It didn't work out but how about that time out when there were 5 seconds left on the shot clock and the offense was going no where. That challenge on the Curry foul was perfect. After Nurkic cooked us early, we played bigger and started to double him quicker.

Huge upgrade from Nash.

Great win! triple double Royce saved KD's @zz there after throwing them off the bus.

On a serious note, I like that Ben is finally coming around. This game is even better than his last one.

Oh, I almost forgot. Yutasanity!!!

lol we better had won that one, it would of been bad if we lost. KD missed a free throw then gave up a AND1 on the other end. But this was another solid team win. O'neale had his best game so far and so did Simmons and Watanabe. So nice to see Simmons being more aggressive finally and that last foul on him was bogus.

We need to stop being careless with the ball, we have some butter fingers on this team. Too many times the ball slipped thru Simmons, Oneale, KD , Harris's hands on a pass or a rebound, we need to clean that up quickly. This was encouraging though, Ben is slowly coming back into form , this is the type of play we need at the very least ! I really hope Kyrie buys in and don't screw this up, we are feeding off each other. Watanabe is a real player and his 3 pt shot is falling effortlessly, and I can tell KD likes playing with him. It looks like Oneal is our new point forward lol

This win shows the potential in this team. Our defenses in nasty so much length on the court compared to last year, you could see dame was struggling with it. Glimpses of Ben as the point of attack defender, and he still isnt 100%. Cant wait

That wouldve been an all time choke from KD lol. Offensive foul on the inbound, missed free throw, and-1 foul on Nurkic, shot too early in the last second and missed it.

This was the first game where Ben even remotely looked like Philly Ben. First time all year he drove on a center. We need more of that. He's still far away though.

Yuta is a beast. Monster rebounds. Easy money from 3. Ran hard on the break and got to the line. Can't ask for more.

The foul on Simmons is indeed weak. Too bad, we don't have a challenge anymore. But I'm glad with have JV successfully used it on Curry.

Just to add, what a lame hack-a-Simmons effort. Ben made them pay with a 3 of 4 makes.

We legitimately bother perimeter based teams, teams that have a dominant center that can pass is a different story.

I do think we will get better at securing the middle as Ben and Yuta get more minutes and we get used to our defensive schemes, but I still maintain were one big body short.

This Nets team is interesting. Vaughn seems to be doing a good job coaching. The win last night was very good and when Kyire comes back I think he is coming back with something to prove. This team could make some serious noise going forward and the season is still very young.

Simmons hate was so stupid.

He played like 5 bad games and you all were ready to trade him.

He will keep getting better. Wait till mid season and he will be back to all star form.

Yuta needs a raise.

Imagine being around this dramatic team and still playing hard and with joy every single night
