Don't you have anything better to do, like post on the Dallas board for a change? Or is this just your alternate account, which seems more likely.

Stein:

"The reality is that if you're Deron he's gonna have to wanna come home pretty bad to choose Dallas."
"There's not enough there (in Dallas) right now to really entice him."
"It's gonna be a really challenging recruiting job. [...] He (Cuban) is gonna have to work really hard to convince DWill to leave Brooklyn."

man nothing is in Dallas right now. Their fanbase is in just panic mode right now since all they have is Dirk. They still haven't let themselves realize they are officially in rebuild mode now. I mean if we lose Deron, Nets are ****ed too but we're used to that sh**

Lets be real here, how many NBA owners would fly out their star player to the most insane hotel in Moscow for a trip after just paying for everything in Istanbul as well.

Proky is a complete boss and you just know that Cuban has nothing on this and I love it!!

This is the first star that Prok has had on the Nets and he is now putting out the red carpet to make sure he stays. I wouldn't be surprised if Proky has some crazy things lined up for the Williams to do in Moscow while they are there, will probably get him on a tour of the Kremlin. I actually stayed in that hotel a few years ago when I was playing football over there and it's one of the best hotels I've ever seen, crazy crazy expensive and just oozes class everywhere.

Random story but outside that hotel, all day and night, high class hookers stand around looking to meet rich international people and oh my god are they beautiful....... ANYWAY hahaha

"Last I heard he was partying overseas with Nets management, with Prokhorov and them," Mavs center Brendan Haywood said of Williams on Tuesday morning during an appearance on ESPN Dallas 103.3 FM's Ben & Skin Show. "If he's leaning towards Dallas, he's got a funny way of showing it."

If the Thunder dominate the Lakers this series, I think it'll only help us keep D-Will. OKC is very young and yet they're already this good. Dirk isn't getting any younger and if D-Will and Dirk think they can take down Westbrook, Harden, and Durant (plus Ibaka), they have another thing coming.

MIA is not only older than OKC but they're also more susceptible to injury/aging sooner.

I will say, if he does wind up in Dallas we got trolled pretty hard, but that was a funny quote.

I agree I think the team we should root for is the Heat. If they win, it would give more incentive for Dwight to go play with Deron. Also, the fact that Orlando's arch enemy is Miami doesn't hurt either.

I'm not rooting for Miami. In fact, we should root for OKC. If they can win it all, I don't think D-Will is going to want to spend his entire contract going up against a team who still has room to grow and is already a top 1-2 team in the WC.

Having MIA win it all actually goes against what I said lol.

I'd rather have OKC win. One, Durant is one of my favorite players in the league. And two, it would show Deron that Dallas has no chance in the West, while proving Miami's beatable in the East.

Bondy: D-Will Looking To Stay

Stefan Bondy lays out the positives and negatives of Deron Williams free agency situation and offers this bottom line: "From what we’ve heard, Williams is looking for reasons the stay with the Nets. It’s up to GM Billy King to provide them."

Bondy, unlike a lot of pundits, doesn't believe the Nets are in bind where they win D-Will's signature only if they trade for Dwight Howard. He quotes Williams own words last month on what the Nets need to do.

"We have to get some veterans, guys that know how to play the game of basketball, make the right plays, extra passes," Williams said. "That was the most frustrating thing about this year was the lack of ball movement, lack of screens. Just really some good basketball players, we need to get a lot of those."

This is really good news.

Kind of throwing his teammates under the bus with that last paragraph, but it's 100% true, so whatever, lol.

Well hopefully most of them aren't his teammates anymore.

That could very well be true if he goes to Dallas lol.

You should say "Well hopefully most of them won't be his teammates on the Nets any more.

How many STAR players in their PRIME have dropped everything and signed with a team just because the team is located in their "home town"*?

...Yeah. Exactly.

*It's interesting to note that Deron doesn't even spend the offseason in his "home town" nor has he had a very strong connection with his "home town" for a good while now... Funny how writers will come up with anything to justify their agendas.

Picture of him on Prok's jet stream had him wearing a White Sox hat. ZOMG, he's going to Chicago.

Derrick Rose for Deron Williams. Make it happen, King.
