People also think that wearing texas rangers jerseys means he is staying but it is exactly the same thing has him wearing a nets shirt right now may not really mean anything.

IDK about all this and if so it would be a pretty sick troll.

Wearing a Texas Rangers MLB baseball jersey on the streets of NYC while grabbing a shawarma, who happens to be your favorite team in MLB baseball, a totally non-affiliated sport and separate entity, is a totally unrelated comparison to wearing Brooklyn Nets basketball gear at a draft event he had exactly zero responsibility, motivation or obligation to attend even if he and Dwight Howard were currently inked through 2017, let alone he's a free agent awash in controversy.

Hell even if he wanted to be there for whatever reasons even entertainment and to get a good workout, he could have simply worn plain Nike gear and it probably wouldn't have elicited any response or sparked any thought regarding his destination of play next season and beyond. If that was the case it would have just been, "Oh look, Deron is at the Nets workouts, it might be a sign."

I'm not saying Deron thought deeply about this, that it was some premeditated ploy and he put on Brooklyn gear to send a message, in fact I'm saying more the opposite.

He put it on because he's part of this team and is comfortable with that fact, so it wasn't even a thought, he just threw the practice shorts and tee on like it wasn't a thing. And if anything he might have thought while putting it on, "Will this convey a message I'm staying? I didn't think about that til it just struck me now. Oh well, that's cool. That's fine. I probably will be anyway."

Well now you guys know how Magic fans felt when the Nets claimed D12 was leaving for Brooklyn this year. The Mavs fans are now doing the exact same thing.

C'mon you are seeing what you want to see.

There were many reports stating Dwight wanted to stay in Orlando, but they needed to improve the roster for him to stay. He was quoted multiple times saying he wanted to stay in Orlando, he loves Orlando, etc.

There are also many reports stating Deron Williams wants to stay in Brooklyn, but he also wants to see improvement in the roster before he makes a long term commitment. Once again, multiple quotes from Deron saying he is excited about Brooklyn and their vision, etc.

"Sources" also said Deron would strongly consider returning to his hometown and playing under Mark Cuban.

The point is, both players were widely reported as wanting to stay where they were. The reason you think D12 wanted to leave more than Deron wants to leave is because the media jumped on the opportunity to blow up the story while it was hot. I'm sure as the season draws to a close the media will try and fabricate some Deron rumors.

I didn't agree with Ronito's article but yours was even worse. I did not even say "Strongly consider returning to his hometown for mark cuban" it just said 50/50. The whole Deron to Mavericks is all speculation that only ESPN and people of Dallas are just hyping up. Dwight wanting to go to Brooklyn is no secret

Sheridanhoops has provided 'exclusives' before and it turns out that they were wrong. As soon as I read the word 'source', it lost credibility. Everyone is tired of the term and if you want someone to believe you, at least use a different way of saying it.
