This may be a dumb question, but I'm gonna ask it anyway.

Is there a way to bet on sports online, legally?

Legally? I have no idea. I don't think anything is legal, but you can do it, yes.

Type in the number 5, followed by dimes into google.

And I don't mean that "I have no idea. I don't think anything is legal," as in I don't know. I mean, literally, it's so hairy that there isn't a straight answer. There is no law against it if its an offshore sportsbook as far as I know, but if the sportsbook is inside the USA, then yeah, it's illegal to transfer funds to the site. So...best answer I can give you is this: it's illegal to send funs from a bank to a gambling site, but not illegal to place the bet itself.

Ya, I do it and know a ton of people who do. If you aren't betting much (high amount or placing a bunch consistently), you won't run across a problem. I live only 3-4 hours away from Vegas, so I don't do it much online and usually save my money and go to Vegas to place bets for futures.

I use to bet on sports when I lived out of the country. It was a simple way to make some money on the side, thought I could do it again. If only the lines weren't so blurry...

On that note, I was researching the odds on who wins the championship and I think its crazy that the Grizzles are 50 to 1. That right there is worth risking a hundred bucks on.

Other odds that I find a bit too low:

Los Angeles Lakers
12/1

San Antonio Spurs
14/1

Dallas Mavericks
20/1

Boston Celtics
35/1

The night of the 15TH, the indecision, the Dwightmare whatever you want to call it...I had tickets to the Harlem Globetrotters in LIncroft for my wife and kids.....I was so depressed on the ride over I don't think I said two words.

It turned out to be the most fun night I think I ever had. It was a laugh a minute. So if you never saw the globetrotters live (like me) do yourself a favor and go see them!!

Most overrated show on TV (not including basic cable mainstream bullsh*t). That show is riddled with plot holes.

Breaking Bad is on a whole other level than any other TV show right now.

What the...?! How can you not like The Walking Dead? The comics might be better but the show is pure quality compared to 98.3% of the other **** that's on the air (Game of Thrones, etc.)

Game of Thrones is easily the superior show between the two.

The Walking dead is plagued by awful writing, plot holes and a lot of s****y acting. The only reason I watch it is because of it's premise... not because the show is any good. You want me to name you 10 shows that are currently on the air and are better (sitcoms included):

Game Of Thrones
Breaking Bad
Mad Men
Homeland
Archer
Community
Parks and Rec
Justified
Louie
30 Rock...

...let me name 10 more:

Dexter - also sh***y but still a more entertaining show.
Cougar Town
Raising Hope
The Good Wife
Curb Your Enthusiasm
HIMYM
Southland
It's always sunny in philadelphia
Treme
Fringe

Mission accomplished. You good sir were 100% trolloled.

(I haven't actually watched Game of Thrones and don't plan on doing so because of how unappealing the premise is to me...)

The Walking Dead has its plot holes but what has me watching is I want to see how closely the story follows the comic as it progresses. There are certain events that happened in the comics that I just can't see happening in the TV Show* (but would be pretty entertaining if they did)...

*Dale's death was actually one scene I was looking forward to watching but they completely screwed / changed it up in the TV Series :-/

^^I don't even think they have the same story anymore. I mean, I've read to comic to like chapter 10 (got bored) and it's just completely different. I am glad they decided to develop Shane in the TV Show. Comic book shane was hilariously under-developed.

Another Shadow classic.

And I highly highly recommend watching the documentary Dark Days if you've never seen it, it's pretty crazy and eye opening.
