So I guess your purpose in this forum is to take shots at Lin. It's noticeable.

And people think a guy like that is going to sign a max contract with the Nets? Guys like Heyward don't take mercenary contracts from scrub teams, guys like that want to compete for championships. He's a go getter! He isn't like a Deron or Joe Johnson. Please, never, ever mention his name as a possible free agent target again folks. Thanks.

You sure? cause I hear this team has a top 12 PG

meanwhile lopez is reaching out to mickey mouse for discounted disney tickets in the offseason :banghead:

They just showed a highlight reel of some of Hill's scores and assists tonight and Lopez was in every one of those clips either getting beat or his feet were on the floor STUCK.

We'd better PRAY one of these two 1st rd picks we get lands us a starting center for the future.

Everyday I hate myself for being a fan of a team that has prioritized Brook.

Thankfully it looks like Marks is not about that life

No doubt that Lin played like shite tonight but it's also frustrating that in the first half, he plays 5 minutes and then sits for 15 minutes, and then plays 4 minutes.

I'm not encouraging anything (or dissing Lin, I'm not mad at him. He had a rough night and his minutes are limited, not much he can do), I'm rooting for our guys. But this game is over, so don't mind me, just trying to make the best out of it

Heyward is going to the Celtics. If he does, Marks better back the truck up to Hill

yeah. I was thinking the same thing, its hard for him to really get into a groove like this.

Plus, i think Hill kicking his ass made him press a bit.

It happens man, not much to really get up in arms about. This team is waaaay better than us.

Come on now, his minutes were restricted tonight because Hill hung 4 fouls on him in 12 minutes .

If he starts and finishes halfs and close games, and he's on a 20 minute limit, that's how coach has to do it.

Why would Hill come here, and why would a team who is nowhere near ready to even win 30 games for another two years max out a 30 year old player?

I'm good with you. It's just two posters here are clumsily trying to stir the pot. And for what? They are taking pot shots at Lin, when he's just getting back, and that's borderline trolling. And I'd be annoyed if it was another player as well. Yeah, Lin had a bad game but we know he's capable of better and we need him to help win the winnable games.

The Jazz are the teamost I want to emulate, not the Spurs. I want to have the same two athletic big frontcourt and prioritize defense.

Let's be serious here. We would not be struggling to win 10 games with Hill/Lin as a duo and another step forward for RHJ/LeVert. Plus whatever talent we acquire from the draft and Lopez trade. We are not going to literally sign and develop everyone from the draft or D-League.

We will be looking at Hill, Teague, Holiday, etc. Let's not act like these guys wouldn't be interested in running their own show and getting double money to do it. Everyone asked why would Lin come here last season. Yet, he's here.
