Hopefully less injuries and more reps and cohesion. I mean it took no Kyrie, one legged harden operating at 5percent of his usual operating self to beat the Nets in game 7 overtime. Let’s be frank, if Kyrie and Harden were healthy the Nets would be playing tonight.
Let’s not overreact and throw the baby out with the bath water. Nets will need a bit more rebounding help, a solid 3/D guy and hopefully some health.
Yeah, im not listening to offers for Harden or Kyrie. im hanging up the phone and calling 9-1-1.
100% listen offers for Kyrie...
Harden fully fit makes Ky a luxury at the similar position/role.

There is nothing luxury about Kyrie. he takes us from contender to super team favorite.
When we have all 3 of those guys, we cant be stopped. we are great with any 2, but with all 3 we simply cant be defender. Kyrie dropped 27 on 50/40/90. there is no combo of players that provides close to that impact. And he gives us a second closer.
There isnt a guy available i trade him for. the only ones that would make sense are like Steph, Lebron, AD, or Kawhi.

Thanks. i dont think the MLE matters. 2.5 million likely wont make a difference. if he wants more he'd be looking elswhere for the full MLE or better.
which is good for us, if he does stay, he probably wouldnt force us to use the MLE

Celtics based podcaster says he has heard whispers from a source he admits has no leaks, that marks maybe, possibly, kinda sort would be willing to maybe at least listen to an offer for kyrie.
Meanwhile, direct from marks mouth, he wants to extend kyrie:
https://nypost.com/2021/01/20/sean-marks-nets-want-to-lock-up-kyrie-harden-durant/
This is click bait so he can sell his book.
Even if it was true... is it breaking news that Marks might reluctantly be somewhat open to listening to an offer for one of his stars?
this is tabloid trash

I hope so, we can offer ~$3.17 mill each to both Jeff Green and Blake, and keep the MLE for another player, it could help us a lot.Prokorov wrote:DarkXaero wrote:Projected values: $5.89 mill (tax payer MLE) vs $3.17 mill (20% raise).Prokorov wrote:

Green + Blake + Tucker is a win of an offseason to me regardless of what happens with Brown, Spencer, and TJ

Celtics have hired Ime Udoka as their new head coach, so that's one assistant coach gone.

A missing kyrie with a healthy Harden, this team didn't miss a beat. Harden makes everyone better.
Kyrie does not. Kyrie plays great and great which our team benefits from bit he doesn't make everyone better like a healthy Harden did and does.
While one for one they're aren't many values for Kyrie, agreed but if Kyrie netted us a better package of talented players and maybe pucks, I listen to that yes.
Note I didn't say force him out, but if I see 2-3 guts n picks in return to strengthen our team all around, yea im listening.
We missed him DUH, we needed him to win it all cuz apparently our 17 man roster is trimmed to 6-7 with injured players in postseason courtesy of Nash.
2nd closer, we have 3 closers with the big 3.. lol... if one goes, then it's still two closers..

This is a riddiculous argument. the team was good without Kyrie with Harden/KD. of course it was. The team also "didnt miss a beat" with KD out when they went like 19-2 with KD injured.
Saying "kyrie doesnt make anyone better" is also abusrd. he may not be an assist machine like Harden, but he demands an enormous amount of attention and has gravity. He makes guys like KD/Shamet/Harris better because they get open shots/single coverage.
Not being as good as harden is not some knock on kyrie. almost no one is as good as harden as making others better
there is no better package of talented players that has a larger impact then kyrie. he raises our ceiling a ton more then any combo of players would.

You meant that you hope MDA gets the Blazers job, and I agree.
Ime is a very talented coach, who was probably under-utilized here. Boston hired a good one here.
I think we'll hire well to replace our outgoing assistant/s, but I wouldn't hold my breath for a guy who's gunning for the lead role. Most of the time, those are guys hired by the GM when that GM didn't hire the head coach, and the head coach is a lame duck. At least ostensibly, Nash has the full, unwavering support of Marks. For better or worse, Steve is bulletproof.

The amount of absurd **** you've said on a regular basis really gives that impression. Kyrie is a top 15 player in this league, a dynamite iso scorer who also excels in an off ball role, can do secondary playmaking, and we had our best winning stretch of regular season when it was just Harden & Kyrie. Yet somehow, a fellow Nets fan is saying that they're redundant and we should listen for offers. This is the take I expect from fans of other teams who don't really watch our team play and hate Kyrie, not a Nets fan.CalamityX12 wrote:DarkXaero wrote:I swear some of you don't really watch our games.CalamityX12 wrote:100% listen offers for Kyrie...

Without KD, who was leading that charge? Harden!
Kyrie is top class no question, like I said I'm not forcing him out but to listen to offers is never off the table. It's more than assists, to say that's what Harden only does is short minded view of how Harden makes the team better vs Kyrie. It's not even close and that's not again Ky, Harden is built for that.
Ky can absorb the attention but often times he doesn't get the others going when that happens. He dominates himself which isn't a knock or slander. It's two different ballers 100%.

Nothing absurd, be objective and not biased. There's no wrong in listening to offers. If the offer is substantially freat, that should be considered! Kyrie is amazing there's no question nor slander but who I rather have out there healthy? Harden or Kyrie?
Like you said, that stretch had who involved? HARDEN and Ky... nothing in my posts belittled Kyrie or him as a player.
Also there were games when Kyrie didn't get the team going before Harden n after... so it's not all positive. But that's not a knock, there can be ways to improve the team without it being a negative view on a player.
But hey I pretend to watch the same games
