What bothered me tonight about Sean not playing is that the Spurs struggle against athletic / energetic bigs. Sean is so unpredictable but I think that works against the Spurs...
It also annoyed me that the French Flopper was getting to the rim at will and not having to think twice about getting blocked...
Solid game by Marcus though. He was put in a position where he had to score more and he came through.
Last thing though... Devin Harris please stop taking so many god damn threes...

^^i agree
So many bad things from this game, i could have a field day. Might as well forget this and hope they can get their stuff together against the Grizzlies tomorrow.
Trenton Hassel getting post ups. That's all im going to say. And people had the nerve to say Peter Vescey was full of crap for that piece about Frank this morning. Lawrence Frank is by far the worst coach in the NBA.

And at least Sean is a force in the paint that can block shots unlike Boone.
Boone is an energy guy, good utility player off the bench and thats it. He shouldnt be starting imo.
No, Kristic shouldnt be starting, at this point the guy is chucking up jumpers when his game is POST

SWill should play over Swift. Swift didnt do anything well out there, at least SWill has an impact on the game. The other day vs the spurs he came in and blocked a shot and like a minute later Frank took him out. I dont understand it.
and does watching RJ frustrate anyone else? Hes a black hole. He never looks to pass. He takes stupid jumpers when he should attack the rim, and when he does attack the rim most of the time he looks for the foul instead of trying to finish the play. He called out Marcus Williams and then goes 4-12 with 4 turnovers. Really good leadership

Swift must be outplaying SWat in practice but Swift looks so passive out there I'd rather see SWat's energy & mistakes right now.
When your 2nd & 3rd best players are your two worst players by shooting 31% from the field & combining for 9 turnovers and you go to the line 16 times (compared to 31) and shoot only 63% when you do get to the line well that's that....I know the Spurs packed in the paint but that's never stopped RJ before to force the action, he's been really jump shot happy lately.
Outside of VC / Boki / Marcus I don't really trust anyone else on this team on wide open shots. Krstic pre-injury was money but he's not back to that level yet.
This should be the gameplan for every team facing the Nets. Double VC and force the Nets to rotate the ball to a non-shooters (which are plenty) and force them to make the shot or make a play....the Nets only counter is the high pick & roll with a big normally dropping to the paint looking for a pass but really only Boone / SWat have been effective with that (Krstic should be too).
Marcus should call out RJ lol.
I commend you all for watching these past two games. Spurs are very effective but a hard team to watch and mix that w/ poor shooting Nets and you get U-G-L-Y.

The possitive is we don't play the Spurs again this season , maybe next season with shooter/s and a recovered Krstic or a developed Boone or Sean it looks better .
But they don't take our big or shooters serious enough to cover them that much , the only thing they need to do is make dribble penetration impossible and we're dead .

And i have to give Marcus his props. He responded well tonight.
And Curly finally showed that he had a pulse. Had Frank had half a brain in his head, he would have been calling for post ups for Curly since Carter was being triple teamed every time he touched the ball. But no!! Lets have Curly only attempt 6 shots, and lets either post up the defensive specialist, or swing the ball around to RJ so he can throw up a horrible shot.
This team can have all the talent on this planet and it will go nowhere because of this IDIOT.

that's my issue with either him or Frank, why is RJ a standstill jumpshooter or initiator from isos. That isn't his game, moving w/out the ball, cutting to the basket or using openings created usually by Vince to drive to rim, that is what he excels at but Frank (don't know how much of it is RJ himself) uses him like he's Allen Houston

I'm not sure we've got the passer right now for more then Isos for RJ .
One more thing about Swift he had an open lane several times today but instead driving to the basket he shot a jumper , he's just playing bad .
We should try to move him in the offseason mb combine with our picks to move up in the draft , he's at least an expiring .

Seriously. So with Boone getting handled by Duncan all game. And with just about everyone getting rebounds over him, what is frank doing. TRY something new you idiot. And small ball? again? do you not see us getting dominated on the boards? idiot..
We were down 14 and he's still trying to run that worthless RJ post play over and over again. Isn't vince our guy?
And guys like swift look useless and passive because of Frank. It's just confusion out there. Besdies the offense never involes all 5 guys. It's usually just 3 in a small corner of the court. So stro and someone else gets to just stand around at the other end.
I dunno what more Frank has to do to show he can't coach in this league.
Duncan and Parker were laughing at us. Pop just looked bored. Thorn has no excuse for keeping him. Since Frank took over, the team has done nothing but underachieve. It's not even just this year. when we were the Big Three, Frank wasted it until he made Kidd so miserable he demanded a trade. For the love of god...fire frank.
and seriously...WHAT IS HE CLAPPING ABOUT?
