I was just thinking about how much better this team would have been if we got Jkidd. I think he alone would be worth at least 5 more wins, if not much more.

Yeah he can have a big impact. Then again he might have made us just good enough to still suffer through Avery.

I like Tele, I think this dude has big potential, I'm happy with his signing to be honest.

They're closing the Polaski right after the Super Bowl in 2014 until 2016. Madness.

Damn, with the Pulaski Skyway closed, traffic is going to suck on Communipaw Ave getting out of Jersey City. It'll be even worse if either of the drawbridges are raised. 1&9 into the Holland will be a complete disaster...well more so. Has to be done though.

Dude it's going to be epic fail trying to get into or out of any of NYC, Jersey City or Hoboken and I'm sure during rush hour this is going to **** up traffic all the way into Newark and even Union County in that area.

I really don't understand how you let the bridge get this out of condition that it needs a complete two year overhaul that requires it to be shutdown?

And what is this going to cost? You'd think they'd be better off building an entirely new bridge now, then closing it and redoing it, adding some new exits and the such to help clear out some traffic by having two, maybe make one a truck, bus and carpool only.

F**k's sake.

So in the last month and a half I've watched Boy Meets World in it's entirety to refresh my memory about the show and brace myself for the spinoff and I have to say, that the show holds up extremely well (a LOT better than other shows I loved when i was a kid). As any show, it got broader in the later seasons (Eric in particular) and I found that some of the characters that I didn't mind when I was younger, were extremely pointless and/or terrible (Jack, Rachel)... but all in all it handled emotional scenes extremely well and is still pretty funny.

Some of my favorite scenes:

(3:45 - 4:25)

(Start at 4:00)

Start at beginning 'til 2:30)

....

Disney better not mess it up.

Topanga just got thick and hey...I liked her that way too!

But to jeff's point, I think out of the TGIF lineups, Boy Meets World help up the best over the years.

Crazy man, there are articles out there saying to build an entirely new bridge would cost similar. Although further investigation seems to point that these estimated builds often wind up costing substantially more when inevitable problems arise from design faults, redesign and repairs, to costs of the materials going up during construction, worker costs, finding companies to produce the materials, etc.

But as do usually these large scale repairs to the original bridge.

The infrastructure of this country is quite the running joke, along with the industry or now lack there of capable of repairing or more so building new.

Reading up on the Bay Bridge rebuild is pretty eyeopening.

Jesus, Wiki and ensuing articles from there and Google are like going down the rabbit hole.
By tomorrow morning I'm going to know more about bridges then the politicians who make the final decisions on this stuff.

Every Boy Meets World fan considers Topanga one of their first ''true loves." I find it funny that this is the common sentiment between fans, hell I'm guilty of it, but during this re-watch I found Topanga to be annoying more often than not. I mean, she didn't even show Cory her tits 'til after they got married... what's up with that?

And the next day we'll be reading about how those politicians will call you to oversee the project. I can see the interview on TV right now.

Reporter: What exactly are your qualifications?
vc4pres: Um...Wikipedia...news articles...
Reporters: Nice. I actually feel comfortable.

Yeah, I can admit to that. First TV crush though...

Oh, yeah... Kelly Kapowski. The good thing about her is that she never turned into a bodybuilder like Topanga.

What happened lol, you got banned too??

BTW, have you been able to log onto the Forums side?

It won't let me log in and I try resetting my password and it never sends me an email even though it says it has.

I emailed them and no response.

Beginning to think I'm banned on that side of the site...

LOL miss you too! Nah, i've finally found my username and password for this site which I enrolled last year. What happened was I got into this site and boomed crash my computer. damn viruses! then a 2nd time, same result. My poor computer lol... so since i spend most of my day on my work comp at the office, i tend to avoid this site.

But after several trips, i find it safe again! lol

I've been able to log into the forum side but creating a new thread or quoting a post became such a inconvenience. Idk if their forum is trashed with spam or something to cause it to run so slow/poor. I miss it, i can't do that comment section.

You can't be banned... trust.
