The hilarious part about the Jackson saga is that was plain as day obvious that he was done and happy in retirement and that THE ONLY reason he took the Knicks job is because they threw a ridiculous amount of money at him

I was preaching this to my friends who are Knicks fans from day one but up until the last month or two they were all "We got Phil! You sux! THEY SCARED NOW!"

They can get rid of Phil, but you just get the feeling that Knicks won't be fully over everything until Dolan sells that franchise. Of course we hope he never does..

Cannot see this as a good fit between CP3 and Harden, but Houston did not have to give up much to get CP3 either.

Holy sh*t can't believe this happened. Wonder how harden and Paul will work, but this should be fascinating. Maybe harden will learn to work off the ball...

He's basically telling the world that he doesn't want to be a PG. He wants to be the primary scorer.

Paul
Harden
Ariza
Anderson
Capella

That's an incredible offensive squad. They lost Beverley, Lou, Dekker for Paul.

Jerry West made it happen....

but wow... i guess it should be exciting. But idk... CP3 is going to get fed up real quick when he realizes he brought all the d to houston.

SA man... that should've been your place!!!!

Spurs can easily counterbalance that with a PG13 trade and/or signing Kyle Lowry. There's also Rubio, Bledsoe all out there to be had.

Probably, I'm assuming this trade signals a rebuild for Clippers.

Rubio and Bledsoe is still a drop off from CP3 lol....

CP3, as an individual player fits very real within Pop's system. He's also the right kind of guy to aide and lead alongside Kawai as both a scorer n defensive player.

Paul George i don't see Spurs going for him. Doesn't scream Spurs player to me.

Paul is on his last max contract. No shame in walking away at this point. Paul hasn't done much there. Honestly, we've had similar success as the Clippers. The furthest they've gone with him was the second round. The Spurs will maximize anybody they sign so it could be Lowry or Bledose. They'll win regardless.

Seems like the Spurs are focused on Derrick Rose, though. Good luck, POP.

I've always though the spurs will go after Lowry as their primary target. Lowry really reminds me of tony Parker, and I think he'd fit in really well there.

Melo and D'Antoni worked great before.
