When he has a ton shooting around him and Kevin Love but can't even go .500 when Lebron sits.

So its ok to discredit Kyrie when he loses with awful teammates.

but not ok to credit him when he wins with great teammates?

how does that work?

derrick rose may have had highlights but he didnt average 25/6/3 while shooting 40% from deep on huge volume.

The Cavs are surely looking for more than a possibly one year rental as the main piece.

they are also looking for good players or lotto picks im sure. not average starters, bench fodder, and glorified second rounders

Also think about this, Kyrie wants the ball so badly that he's willing to leave the second best opportunity to win a ring. This dude is so me first that he ain't even willing to share the ball with LEBRON JAMES. Reports already coming out that Kyrie thought about asking out of Cavs in 2016 when they just won. What kind of isoball mentality is that?

Thats such a dumb argument. Kyrie's "career" of losing are his first 3 years in the NBA.

He was only 21 years old when LeBron came.

I forgot all the NBA players leading their team to Championships in Year 3. Especially when they are injured.

please give me the list of players who got their team to .500 ball who at ages 18,19,20 as a #1 pick to a bad team.

that list is like 2 names long. lebron and kobe

Well it depends on what other teams are offering lol. But I doubt it would get him and the most I would be willing to add is our lottery protected 2019 pick. However that trade offers them a ton of cap relief if that's what they're looking for.

But again I doubt we get him.

We aren't getting Kyrie. Best case scenario we can help facilitate cap room and take on helpful player from one of the teams involved.

28 other teams could make an offer much better then that. is so far off i think marks wouldnt even waste his time offering it. the best asset in there would be toronto or devners lotto protected pick. thats like peanuts.

at a minimum to be considered we would need to offer Russell, Levert, Toronto 18 nets 2020

We just have to be patient. Were not ready for Kyrie.

I still think we have a chance of luring Anthony Davis in 3-4 years.

Let's just wait for the Warriors dynasty to end. Nothing anyone does will beat them anyway.

For Kyrie, it would take Russell who can not be traded until December but him alone is not even close to being enough.....You would have to offer the 2019 and 2010 first round pick which would be valuable since Cleveland would expect Brooklyn to still be bad thus poaching future lottery picks.

Not saying those numbers meaningless. But Cavaliers are built to have LeBron at their core.

Part of reason Kyrie trying to leave now probably because he doesn't want to be left with husk of Cavs after LeBron likely leaves to play with Lonzo and PGeorge next summer. I can't blame him...

Kryie is a great talent, no doubt... but it take a lot to win in this league... the way he plays in both ends is not conducive to win, particularly when he is your first option and he runs the offense, we don't even need to talk about defense where he is terrible...
the presence of LeBron actually saved Kyrie's career, putting him in to his right role, the second or third option
He actually wanted to leave after last season's championship win, he wanted to be a "Kobe"... but he is no Kobe
wanting to leave LeBron is quite idiotic

I really think this is a great chance for the Cavs to reconfigure their roster. This is the first time I've ever thought Bill Simmons was on to something with the 3 team trades he's been proposing for the Cavs, Knicks, Suns.

Suns would get Love and deal Bledsoe and some futures.
Knicks would deal Melo and 2 futures (either 2 firsts or 1 first and the Ntklina).
Cavs would get Melo, Bledsoe, and 2 or 3 solid future assets. (plus some other role players mixed in to balance salaries etc)

Cavs get a ton of flexibility, replace 90% of Kyrie/Loves production, and add futures that could help them make moves in-season. Plus maybe they snag a few versatile role players like Jared Dudley or Courtney Lee who would specifically help matchup with the Warriors.

I'd be good with this with RHJ in LeVert's place and I do believe that's a competitive package. They'll almost certainly get an offer with a better main core piece returning though.

These trade proposals on here are nothing short of embarrassing.

We aren't getting Irving. Frankly, I don't want him. You guys learned next to nothing from D Will.

Idk you can legitimately say his style isn't conducive to winning. He was completely young and green his 1st 3 years and oft injured.

I don't even know we can judge his playmaking abilities and ability to run an offense, he isn't asked to do this in Cleveland.

I can see him putting up 28/8/4 on his own with a good supporting cast, but no one super ball dominate next to him.

Kyrie is 25, it's a long term move as well and a way to lure guys like the Brow.
