Watching him and Rondae win the game in overtime at PG and Center was honestly surreal.

Everyone gets random injuries and he’s played in 66 games and counting this season. I don’t really understand your point.

Extremely unlikely he sniffs that.... I mean, he is a guy who any given night can give you 20/5/5 but averaging that or close is really unlikely. Mostly because while he can score he isnt a great scorer. To consistently give you 20 every night or close would take a pretty enormous leap. Kenny is a god when it comes to development but thats a pretty big jump from year 2 to 3 for a guy who hasnt had 2 full seasons of games yet.

For a reference, Caris has never had a single month where he averaged even 15 a game. doing over the course of 82 takes a ton of consistency and you really need to be able to the FT and finish at a high level. He already takes 10-11 shots a game. he would probably need to be taking 17 or 18 shots a game to be averaging 20. Brook Lopez, our alll time leading scorer, and one of the more effcienty offensive player we have had topped 20 points in a full season just twice in 8 seasons as a net. and he never hit 21 a game.

im not sure Cais would get the FGA or is consistent enough to get close to 20 ppg on this team,

I think something like 14/5/4 is certainly doable, and that would be really solid as well. I also think his value to this team is more faclitating PG then it is wing scorer.

I agree. 14 5 and 5 seems reasonable. maybe even a boost in the assist column.

Caris is a good player and is only going to get better, but he, like Russell, has to become more consistent to really take that next step. the only consistent young player right now on the team is Hollis-Jefferson.

Good time to display being the pg with Allen and the potential first round pick.

Don't see anyway SL helps a guy like LeVert going into his 3rd season.

Then again RHJ played last year, right?

I don't like it at all, and it might serve to his detriment if he doesn't dominate & average 30, because not only will me as a fan start to think maybe Caris isn't as good as we all think, but his trade value will take a nosedive as well

I'd rather he plays in the Dyckman tbh, or at Rucker or some **** lol.

I told you guys.

Most players get 2 reps in the summer league. Levert was out his first year because of his recovery from surgery. This will be his 2nd attempt.

Yeah, the chance of injury is always a concern, but overall I actually don't mind it. It'll give us a look to see where he's at development wise. There's absolutely no excuse for him not dominating there considering that he's already had 1 go at summer league and 1.5 seasons on regular season activity.

Show us what you got Levert!

I don't think the Nets are keen on trading him anyway.

But even if they were, summer league starts on July 6th, after the draft and the start of free agency. If he hasn't been dealt by then, he was never going to be traded anyway (unless some unexpected stellar trade was proposed at a late date).

At least our SL games will be fun to watch without our own draft pick this year.

Let him style on these young fools.
