These moves making me think Marks planning to run it back one more time. Scoop B said both KD and Kyrie spoke with Marks/Tsai on the future. Everything been quiet and no leaks from Kyrie camp.

Not that i agree or like it, but i think it's not out of realm i guess.

Low risk high reward I see no problems with this move.

I'm really dumbfounded as to what Marks doing.

So you were mad Dragic left but you're confused that we signed a guy who averaged 20 PPG - 40% 3PT in his last healthy year?

Very different type of players. Dragic is legit PG floor raiser, TJ is microwave scorer.

We still going to need a playmaker however you spin it. Patty, Curry never been ones, Ben has his flows and no one else can actually create for themselves.

Dragic WAS a floor raising PG years ago. He’s a shell of himself now.

IMO, we should easily be able to find someone who can at least give us what Dragic provides now, if not more.

I just hope the team isn't looking at this as a cheap Joe Harris replacement. That rumor that we were trying to salary dump Joe in the Kyrie trade was very disturbing.

Kyrie/Mills
O'Neal/Curry/Thomas
Durant/Harris
Simmons/Warren
Claxton/Sharpe

If there isn't anything interesting for either run it back

Well lets just look at this roster.

Kyrie - Patty
Joe - Seth - Cam
Ben - Royce - Kess
KD - TJ - Kess
? - Nic -Sharpe

Talent wise this team is better GSW, Saltics, LAC or anyone else. Now if you add some legit coaching like Snyder, Borrega or D'antoni to help Nash out. I mean, this is not a team anyone would want to face.

Than again, Kyrie is Kyrie and thats where things start and end.

Don't mind this signing one iota. Just hope he is 100% healthy.

You dont have to find anyone if you can talk any sense into Kyrie's head. That's why I'm pissed and frustrated. Looking at this roster right now, it's by far most talented. You can add coaching to improve Nash, damn D'antoni still out there doing nothing.

It all start and end with Kyrie right now.

Woj pretty much said it was to get them picks from LA. They really don't want to lose them because of LBJ uncertainty.

I think those picks will end up high in a lottery no matter what LBJ does.

Again, as Scoop stated, the sides are talking and hashing it out; KD/Kyrie ARE NOT getting traded. This move and the O'Neale move were made to work with a roster that has KD/Kai in it. the TJ Warren signing pretty much solidifies that the two sides have come to a mutual understanding it is in their best interest to run it back and win it all.

Like the TJ signing. Gives us more flexibility in so far as wether or not we move one of our other shooters. He's got good size too, although I don't necessarily remember how well he plays defense.

Great pick up by Marks. Love it. He’s definitely the best scorer off the bench we’d had in awhile.

Scoop b is full of ****. He throws stuff out there and occasionally is right. You aren’t running it back. You are gonna get a really good return for KD - it just takes time.

TJ was signed because he needed his next place to be a team where he can build up his value again for his next deal while getting consistent minutes and shots- a void that he can fill to some extent when KD Is eventually traded.

I don't really think this is a sign that KD is staying.

In the press conference where Marks blasted Kyrie after the season, he also talked about going back to picking up the type of players we used to get. Guys that have something to prove. Guys with room to grow. Guys that play hard. TJ Warren is trying to rebuild his value after being out for 2 years. Royce O'Neal is a classic underdog story - going undrafted and playing overseas before earning a spot in the league.

Say whatever you want but the most important and valuable person in the franchise is Marks. Who knows who Tsai would choose to hire if he wasn't here. His ownership hasn't exactly been smooth sailing and it's hard to find/attract top tier execs.

I 100% trust him that if they do a KD trade it will bring back more than the Harden trade.
I 100% trust him in the draft wherever they are (maybe one day he'll get a top 10 pick) despite all the picks to hou.
I 100% trust him to make smart signings like this one with limited downside.

The bad moves we all complain about (rightfully) were KD/Kyrie moves, which were the price of doing business.

With each solid move Marks makes I think the chances of them realizing their best option is to to finish what they started here goes up.

Despite the chaos/cap situation he's somehow added 2 potential rotation pieces in O'Neal and Warren, while retaining Patty and Claxton. Just let the man work.

He seems to have connections to Kyrie & is functioning as a Kyrie mouthpiece.

If Warren is healthy, this is a great signing. The dude shot 40% or better from deep on good volume during his last two healthy seasons with Phoenix and Indiana. At age 29 this is low risk, high reward.

We needed wings and adding Warren and O'Neale addresses it.

I’ll let u decide but does functioning as “kyrie’s mouthpiece” scream to you that any of what he says is based in reality?
